I wish I knew about these ladies a decade ago! I don't normally write reviews and there is no incentive for doing this one. So with that-- I needed a quick appointment for a few cats to get health certificates and they got me in within a reasonable time frame. They are all extremely nice and caring...true animal people. They are also extremely knowledgeable and didn't try to do/sell anything unnecessary and are reasonably priced! They made a follow-up call and legitimately care. Compared to others around town, with their 2 week wait times, or being put on some call list...this place is properly staffed.
I love this veterinary clinic the best out of several we tried over the years in Norman. Very thorough and accurate diagnosis' and solid get better fast treatment. And they are so sweet to our dog Zoey!
We LOVE Village Vet Care. They somehow remember my dogs every time we visit, despite seeing them only once or twice a year. Specific details! I work in the pet industry and would like to know how they have that sort of recall!! Dr Crow went out of her way to negotiate a lower cost for me when my dog needed a pricey test run. She did so on her own initiative because she felt the pricing wasn't fair. I felt very well taken care of. The staff clearly, clearly love animals. One of my favorite things about the clinic is that you can hear the techs on the other side of the wall. It's so fun to hear them ooh and aah over the cute ones even when customers aren't around. It's also reassuring to hear how calm and patient they are with the problem animals. Village Vet is my forever veterinary clinic.
The experience of the spay surgery for our dog was very positive. The staff is caring and knowledgeable.
The BEST!!!! I moved here from out of state and was referred by a friend. This place is affordable as heck, also they really seem to care. They took all the time I needed with them. Really impressed!!
This place is absolutely amazing! They are super friendly, always take the time to get to know you and your fur baby, and make sure that your fur baby is comfortable when there. Any time I’m asked about a good vet, I always say this place, I cannot recommend them enough!
We LOVE this place! They are so friendly and you can tell that each staff member absolutely loves animals. We initially used them for at home euthanasia for my 13 year old pibble with severe spinal arthritis. Taylor was so sweet and comforting to us and our Ava girl. She made a terrible process bearable, and our sweet baby passed at home in our arms. We now take our 2 year old Bassett and our 15 year old rat terrier. I can't say enough good things about the staff. I highly recommend using this vet!
Professional and caring staff. Accommodated a last minute emergency service with care and compassion. I can’t recommend Village Veterinary enough if I could give them a ten star rating I would. Thank you for the sympathy card.
We have been clients at Village Vet for 4 years. I just took my rescue Basenji in for his vaccinatons and to have rash looked at. My dog was assessed by 2 of the younger vet techs and we were waiting to see the vet. The tech with the tatoos came in and berated me over my declination of a heartworm test. It was awful and not necessary. She was not involved in my dogs care and came in just to rage at me in an attempt she said to "educate" me. She NEVER asked why I did not want the test. I have never been treated like this by a tech in any vet office. I discussed the situation with the vet and told her we would be leaving. Her only response was to ask where to send my dog's records. She did not even care. In the past I have questioned why the techs do the majority of the amimal care, but if they are this rude I will find another vet. Norman has lots of vets, we will find one who cares about their customers.
