Ate here once. Will never eat here again. I ordered the pork chow fun, a dish I get nearly every time I go to a Vietnamese restaurant. It was so bland, I only got through a few bites before I had to stop. It was as if they bought frozen ingredients, steamed it all, and put it in the container for takeout. The most uninspired, low effort dish I have ever seen from a restaurant. If you are in the mood for noodles, you are better off buying a packet of ramen from your local gas station. Perhaps there are other items from the menu that are decent, but any restaurant serving something like this does not deserve business. If you want good Vietnamese food, go to Indochin on Grand by Hidden River Middle School.
We were set up to fail here with arriving so late from finishing missed connection details and waiting on shuttles, but we made it work and exited 7 minutes after close without rushing the food down. The vegetable egg rolls were everything you expect from a good Vietnamese restaurant and I am thrilled to have had these. The Pho was exactly what the doctor ordered for the cold, windy, and snowy Minneapolis night. A very good meal. It was unfortunate that we could not wait in the warmth for our ride back to the airport and for that you lose one star. Vegetarian options: Vege eggeoll and vege pho. Make sure you check sauce for fish if it is not for you.
Honestly pretty disappointed. Mongolian beef - delicious, but low on beef and a lot of rice noodles and onions in it to bulk it up. Fried wontons - standard, yummy. Fried rice - really weird. Never had just straight fried rice with nothing in it. Pad Thai - really disappointed. Dry, mushy noodles mushiness could be due to me being 20 minutes late for pickup sauce all on bottom and is too tangy. Try ONs on university for some insane pad Thai. Overall, with the 4.5 star rating I was expecting better. Btw, with the Mongolian beef and pad Thai I already took some out.
Pretty yummy! Went here with my friends and there were plenty of different options for all of us to choose from! The food was pretty good! I had a pad Thai which although not tasting like a normal pad Thai quite delicious! I would get it again. Fast service and good prices
This restaurant is amazing! I used to live around the area and used to come here alot. Ive moved since, so its always nice to stop in to dine from time to time. But I can tell you their chicken phò, fresh veggie spring rolls and even their fresh super crunchy veggie egg rolls are amazing and doesn't disappoint!! Its nice to find a place that makes you feel like home. The staff is polite and inviting and I couldn't remember.. but they now have a small wine and beer selection. I had the Moscato which was sweet but not over powering. I would definitely recommend this especially on cold days when you want just a warm bowl of soup.. the pho is very flavorful and you really want to just keep eating . The egg rolls were crispy and the veggie spring rolls had cucumbers which was super fresh!
Restaurant was very clean. Staff were super friendly. Food was good, but not my favorite.
Lots of noodle dishes, which is exactly what I was looking for. Our table ordered Singapore Noodles with shrimp perfect amount of curry and spice, pho, sesame chicken not too sweet and egg foo young. Loved it all. Easy parking and friendly staff. I noticed a lot of takeout, so definitely popular for that.
I only had a bowl of pho so can't really give it a full experience. The pho was alright tho. But if you're looking more drinks like bubble tea or smoothe while you're eating here then this is not the place for you. But do give it a try.
Underwhelming... I ordered the spring rolls and kung pao chicken. The spring rolls were dominated by iceberg lettuce and the only real flavor came from the peanut dipping sauce. I appreciated the variety of ingredients in the kung pao but the vegetables were quite large and not fully cooked, the sauce was sweet with heat coming from red pepper flakes. Rice was cooked well.
Ordered Szechuan Chicken special, took home. Did not enjoy extremely hot spicy burned my lips and tongue. Customer should be asked how spicy. Never experienced this meal the way it was cooked. More vegetables than meat.
