Reviewed on March 31st 2021. I drove by on my way to work today. I've been wanted to stop by to take some pictures here. I'm not guilty, to say that I absolutely love the look of this train station. It is located in Acton California. Acton is located about 10 miles away from Palmdale within the Los Angeles County. It is pretty cool to see this train station because it has an archaic feel to it. It looks Western and I love westerns. You'd be surprised and how many things you can discover by just driving around and getting lost once in a while. This is definitely a nice Landmark here in the high desert in Antelope Valley.
Truck was stolen from here. Police were able to find it, abandoned in a lot with parts missing. Today, that truck was almost stolen AGAIN. Parts destroyed but they did not take the car. There are no cameras securing the parking lot and security there is obviously doing a bad job. Not safe for public use.
Ah Vincent Grade, the moment you step off Metrolink you feel like you're in a movie of the old west, but it's not. Vincent Grade station was built in 14 days after the devastating 1989 earthquake, I love this station it gives you the feeling of the wild west, you'd need cowboys on one side and Indians on the other. Great station
Our car was in the parking lot and had the door lock punched out and the battery cables cut to silence the alarm. The vehicle was then ransacked and tools stolen. Be careful at this place.
Riding Metrolink can be a really great time. There are limitations, but it goes to most major centers. I used to commute to DTLA, but now whenever I have a client to see there, I take the train. Best traffic, all day, you just need to get your timing set. I would love to see more stops to this station Metro, keep the service moving!
I had a ride pick me up but I was supposed to go to Lancaster and Union station had track changes at last minute and didn't tell people so there were several people who had to take bus from other areas and when we went to the restaurant there at grizzly bear we were robbed for our wallet
Dropped off someone. Occasionally I stop by to use the outhouse.
Lots of parking, clean, and quiet.
Nice building
