I think much has been said about this park but I just wanted to add how nice it is. There are lots of trees for shade which I personally love. It’s great for the dogs and owners especially this time of year where it’s unbearable to be sitting out in the sun. The ground is covered in wood chips which was different from Manassas dog park. It made it easier to pick up doggie treasures. I loved the ramps and the chopped wood stumps. It served as a good training too to get your dog to work the “place” command. Lots of water available which is awesome. Lots of places for the dogs to explore, water bowls, places to sit, trash cans in multiple places and a lounge deck which is a nice touch. It’s a peaceful place to let the dogs loose and just kick back. The owners all seems nice and responsible. Going to the dog park for the first time can be very nerve racking. Overall this is a nice place to be and definitely worth the 30 minute drive for me.
Great dog park. My puppy and I had a great time and will be going again. Clean Water on site Lots of dogs to play with Plenty of toys Friendly atmosphere Definitely recommended
Then how dog park is one of the best dog parks I've ever been to. It is well maintained by volunteers and donations. There's always other friendly dogs for my pup to play with and plenty of room for them to run around
Vint Hill Dog Park is clean and well maintained, one of the best dog park around DC area. I have small dogs so my biggest concern is always if the park has separated area for small one. Yes, this park is right for them, even it has agility equipment! I couldn't see water fountain so I recommend to bring own water during hot days.
I like to bring my crack head dogs here from time to time. They always have fun with other dogs, especially the regulars dogs. Big open space for everyone to run around in. They have a small dog section for SMALL DOGS, do not come here and complain when your small dog is playing with big dogs in the BIG DOG section.
Best dog park I've ever been to, hands down! Tons of space, good amount of shade from mature trees, water, seating for humans, various balls and other toys, agility equipment and separate areas for small and large dogs. And it seems to drain and/or dry pretty quickly after a rain, so muddiness does not last very long, fortunately. Restrooms: There are porta potties nearby a short walk away.
One of the best dog parks around! It is rather large, has two enclosures, fresh water and bowls for pups. Lots of shade for hot days and a covered patio in case of rain. Plenty of chairs and benches as well as toys. The dog owners that frequent the place are very polite and always alert. Great place to enjoy with your pup!
Love this park! Friendly people and lots of space for them to run. This is the annual christmas party pic with Santa for the dogs. We volunteer. My husband is Santa
Nice place. If you dog it is not aggressive..go a head. Kids under 9 not to allow to go inside the park.
This dog park is great! The ground is all natural ground, no man made materials, toys, balls, ropes, rock structures, and wood jumps dot the landscape. There is plenty of water pails available as well as receptacles for dog waste and for the humans, there is access to a small gazebo like shelter if needed and plenty of plastic chairs throughout so you can take a load off your feet after a long day at work while your furry best friend runs around making friends and playing the chase game. Have not seen one aggressive dog or annoying pet owner yet! This is a good sized dog park well cared for and I highly recommend a visit to this oasis in the woods. Access to a nice coffee bar around the corner where you can take your furry friend inside and grab a wonderful hot coffee.
