Great park for dog-walking. Usually a little busy in the mornings but great views and plenty of room to walk so you can avoid other pets if you need to. Parking lot isn't big but it seems you can park on the street up the side of the park. We haven't seen any "no parking signs" on the side with all the grass so we're guessing/hoping it's okay.
The park is great they have no restrooms that's the only thing about that Park is that they have no restrooms and no barbecue pits where if you wanted to celebrate a birthday party or just a hangout you really won't be able to but the kids enjoy having fun
It has a nice calming aura. The park was not too busy and it wasn’t too big or too small. There’s nice shady spots and a huge field, and an array of entertainment for both kids, teens, and adults. Overall, a nice place to have a nice picnic.
This is a great park. Lots of open space for flying kites or playing games. There are multiple playgrounds, which helps to give little ones a place to play if bigger kids are being rough in another part of the park. There is a baseball diamond, tennis courts, and even covered table areas for getting together with friends. The only downside is that the paved trail that circles the park is in pretty rough shape - lots of breaks from roots, etc. Kids like to ride bikes and scooters around the park, but the broken path takes away a lot of the fun. This aside, we come here a lot and love it.
Love this park. Located by Brown ES. Lots of playground, open grassy spaces and covered picnic areas. There's also tennis courts and horseshoe pits. Only a few parking spaces though. Also, no restrooms except for a portable outhouse
An Oasis in the foothills of south Reno; a great place to get exercise and take your children. This park has 2 playgrounds to wear your kids out, a hooded picnic area, a jogging path around a baseball field, tennis courts, a plethora of grass, and much more.
Quiet place to walk. Swings, tennis courts and picnic tables. Brown Elementary School next door and periodically uses the park for P.E. No restrooms.
Very nice and green park. Track and a playing ground for sports activity.
Two different parks and an open field that regularly has wild horses. It's a lot of fun for kids but unfortunately the horses poop all over the playgrounds.
What an experience! Well kept up, beautiful park. While we were there wild horses showed up!! Definitely parking is lacking.
