This morning, I pulled up to go in & buy a drink. I got an email that needed a fast response. I parked away from the door, windows & gas pumps so I could send the email. I was in the parking lot for 7 minutes, when the new Indian guy part owner walked up to my door, motioned for me to roll my window down, then asked me to park around on the backside of the store. I really gave the new owners a shot, but today changed everything. I've been going to that store for 33 years... but not anymore. I'll share my experience with others as well.
Check your items before you buy them. My son bought some mustard that had already been opened and the top was glued on. Not sure where they are getting their merchandise. No refund because my son didn’t ask for a receipt.
Perfect general store. The prices are fair and the selection on tools, plumbing, electrical, and food is really convenient for a community that’s 20 minutes away from most other stores.
Virginia Mines Grocery is ran by exceptionally friendly and helpful owners and clerks. Great for breakfast food items. Sausage biscuits, bacon egg and cheese, steak biscuits, chicken biscuits, mini cinnamon buns etc. Lunch food includes hot and ready pepperoni pizzas. You can call in order ahead of time for pickup generally in 15 to 25 minutes. They have a great gardening area t hhat are great for gifts. Can get propane and great deals on everyday items besides geoceries.
5 dollar minimums on debit card. This is by far the highest I have seen. This applies to debit and credit card purchases. Keep in mind I have went to this store on and off for over 25 years. They didn't budge so I wont be back.
My favorite place to stop. Friendly staff, good food, lots of confident items in the shop and beautiful plants in the garden center.

Always friendly and they have a little of everything. Only thing ,they do need is public restrooms
Rude. Even our out of town friends who stopped there on their way into town, said they were treated rude. They are just RUDE, always RUDE. We avoid the place.
One of my favorite little gas stations, been there for long time. Love the people who run it.
