Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) exists to assist Student Affairs and Virginia Tech with advancing their missions and with protecting students' civil rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act. SSD establishes clear guidelines and procedures, creates collaborative partnerships, and provides progressive services to promote student learning, personal growth, and development of life skills. SSD endeavors to create a campus climate in which students with disabilities experience full access and inclusion in curricular and co-curricular opportunities in the academic community.
