The Nursing Team in the ICU was exceptional. My husband was quite ill and at every moment in the ICU their focus was clinical excellence, supporting that all pieces of the clinical puzzle were understood and managed. They are Magnet Nurses and it was on full display. They did not settle yet pushed for him and all of us. He was discharged because of their professional expertise and the superb partnership with all the providers and Care Team. We cannot state strongly enough that they made all the difference for us all. We are grateful.
I feel my care was very professional and everyone knowledgeable. At mammogram before surgery the Dr and Gina were friendly and calm to make things easier. My experience was very positive. I also thank my drs, and the surgery staff for the the ease of going to sleep and the pleasent recovery.
In a heart-wrenching visit to my brother today, accompanied by my service animal, an unexpected storm erupted. Out of nowhere, a group of hospital security staff the unwelcoming committee came into his treatment room, launching a relentless investigation on me and my loyal companion. This shockingly occurred just over thirty minutes after I had entered the room, hoping to provide solace and support to my brother during his trying times. Upon stepping foot in the hospital, I had diligently informed the receptionist about my service animal, and even obtained a pass from a security officer who acknowledged and recognized my companion. Throughout my initial interaction with the hospital staff, I was treated with fairness and respect, just like any other visitor. So, why was I suddenly targeted and subjected to a degrading spectacle in front of my already distressed brother and the entire floor staff? This cruel and unnecessary display of humiliation left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, effectively cutting short the precious time I could spend with my brother. * *Let me be clear: my rating is a direct reflection of the appalling behavior exhibited by the group of security staff, and in no way does it encompass the hospital itself or the dedicated care providers who work tirelessly to support patients and their families.
Virtua Mount Holly Hospital Division of Cardiology - Second Floor I was hospitalized for five days in this division. I was diagnosed with Afib. My condition was critical. It had gone undiagnosed for awhile. Dr. Ralph Russo is exceptional. He is a hard-core, dedicated Cardiologist who is caring, compassionate, and honest. The nursing staff special thanks to Brianna and the other supporting medical staff were also terrific. I was terrified and afraid that my condition was fatal. Dr. Russo's expertise saved my life. This was THE BEST HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE I have had, and I have had five major experiences. Dr. Russo will be my Cardiologist for the rest of my life. I am 71 years old. Thank you to everyone who took such stellar care of me.
I had a SDS procedure on 8/11/23 with Dr Brian Weiss. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly smiles and an effortless registration process. After no wait at all I was taken into the surgical area and was prepped and readied by an amazing team of nurses and doctors. They explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable. The post surgical treatment was just as wonderful. They were attentive to my every need. I was discharged with clear and concise instructions. I don’t remember names unfortunately but every person I came into contact with was kind and helpful! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Kudos to all!
I’ve been in this hospital for 3 weeks so far and as I’m still in pain from my surgery I have to say the nurses on 4NE are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They all made a horrible experience so much better. The care they give. But most importantly is the love they give. I had many nurses during my stay, all wonderful, but I want to acknowledge Jessica, Mike, Gloria, and Jemima. I truly am blessed to have them take care of me. Wonderful wonderful people. I love them!!!!!
Special thanks to … LABOR/DELIVERY: - Lori - Melinda - Becca - Patty - Melinda Diff nurse MOTHER / BABY UNIT - Gaet - Desire They were all apart of the delivery / recovery team for my nephew in February 2023! Two issues I saw throughout the stay. my sister needed an emergency c-section so she had to wait for a OR to open up. I personally feel like there should’ve been a designated room for soon to be mothers. Also there was ONE nurse who was not compassionate. Not sure if it’s because she works overnight or got a new patient. But she was extremely assertive in physical touch and firm in tone to a mother in labor she was a overnight manager of African American descent. How do you tell someone to quiet down or hold in there baby when they’re in excruciating pain and are expressing their discomfort. Thankfully we were gifted the nurses listed above and they were amazing. They were able to correct the initial bad experience. WE APPRECIATE YOU Hope you enjoyed the cupcakes!
I was taken to Virtua Mt. for head injury, my situation when I entered was weary at first because of my last encounter with staff. On entering I was greeted by staff with a friendly attitude, They registered me right away, and gave me a wheelchair. I no sooner sat in lobby I was Icalled to triage. Who was friendly and attentive to my case. Again I did not wait long, when a nurse took me to X-ray, she friendly and informative. I then was taken C-scan without waiting. All staff I I countered was. Very friendly and informative. After C-scan I was taken to my room in the fast track area, I was attended to by Doctors and Nurses with care and attention. Every thing was explained to me about what my results were and what to do. This was an outstanding encounter with your staff and Hospital . Iam very thankful for their professionalism and smiles. Again Thank your staff for my outstanding care.
Prepare to wait at least 10 hours before a doctor finally sees you for just 5 minutes and sends you home. I don’t blame the staff but this is a very terrible hospital. The bathrooms are always dirty and the bedsheet smells terrible because they don’t change it after every patient use. But my goodness, the wait time is insane! How can I trust that I’m getting proper care when a doctor has to see 40+ patients per night and then I get billed premium price? It’s insane!
I had an excellent experience with having a mammogram done at Virtua Memorial Hospital. I have had at least four mammograms done here and each time was a pleasant experience. The staff is welcoming, friendly, professional, and courteous. Today, Peg was my registrar and Debbie conducted the imaging. Thank you for taking such great care of me. I highly recommend!
