The park is little treasure. It has lots of trees and a great disc golf course. It has a pond and a place that you can take the kids to the play ground. You can walk around with the park with the dogs and ride your bicycle. You can also take the kids to play soccer. It also has some benches where you can sit down. The park is really clean. At night the park does not have lights, but the surrounding buildings provide some light.
Nice dog park. Only one area for all size dogs. It does have benches, a picnic table, water fountain and poop station. Great trees that provide lots of shade. The parking area is small.
This is a wonderful dog park. It's clean and well maintained by the city and its users, the park is always stocked with poop bags and available water. The first thing you will notice is that the dogs at this park have the most awesome masters! I've never seen an issue with an aggressive dog at this park and the dog owners have all been very conscientious and responsible. You can choose to sit in a corner on one of the park benches or tables or socialize in one of the groups, it's a very laid back park and quite welcoming. There is also a city maintained Frisbee golf course and walking park adjacent to the dog park and a playground behind that if you have little ones. My dog would like to add, he loves meeting new friends so please bring you and your best buddy by sometime!
I remember the park when it was new. I want to look for my son . Because the park was a dangerous place. With all the homeless there. But I was surprised. The park was cleaned up .with good lighting. And no homeless doing anything they want to. Just some young adults playing games . The park is on it way to becoming a nice family park again. 8 out of 10. We have to see if it stays free of the homeless. Ps, not all homeless people are bad . Some are just down on their luck. Remember, there are human just like you are.
My dogs enjoy coming here. There is a big dog side and little dog side that is awesome. Some really cool dog parents come here also. Every time we come there is a different group and different experience. Highly recommend
Have 9 mo male puppy and I'm taking him to dog parks to socialize him to people and other animals. Their wasn't many of each but he's highly active and too many would overwhelm him. Seems well taken care of.
I only gave it four stars, because on the day that I went to this park, it was practically empty. I am new in town, and I don’t know why a park would be empty on a weekday afternoon. You would expect for families to be enjoying this place. But I will say, it has a beautiful dog park. Also, there is a nice path that goes around the park, good for those that want to get their exercise. Overall, it is a good family park. I would recommend it.
Love this park! Multilingual in English Spanish and French play ground! Clean soccer field, disc golf, picnic tables, mature trees with lots of natural shade, swings for big and little kids, basketball set up and perfect sidewalk for stroller walking!!!! Highly recommended
Now that the weather is cooler the place is lot more pretty with the change of colors of the leaves and foliage but it looks kind of barren right now and a lot of people are debating whether or not to go great time to take your dog and play in the playground with your children and the restrooms need to be a little bit cleaner but other than that it's a good place to take your animals and your children too early of a day
Nice disc golf course, but the homeless are everywhere in tents and all drugged up.You can literally see them shooting up and smoking meth, they don't even try to hide it. I found 7 caps to syringes no needles just the caps, sketchy where the heck are the uncapped needles?
