Viscount Pools of Imlay City

Stopped by to purchase a new filter for my above ground pool and spoke with Samantha. She said they did not have any filters in stock and that I would need to get a filter/pump assembly. Just bought a new pump last year but okay. After getting the filter home and having an issue getting the split nut collar onto the filter, I noticed it was missing the collar wrench that the directions said you needed. Called up to the store and spoke with Samantha again and she said they didn't have any and to just tighten by hand. Tried, didn't work. Went back up to the store and while Samantha was busy, spoke with another girl who went into the back and immediately produced a collar wrench. So Samantha didn't even bother to at least look for me. Long story short, Samantha could not answer any questions or help me because she said she does not even own a pool. This location does not have any manager if you have an issue and it seems that Samantha pretty much runs the store. Not so great if you have a question or need help. The old location was wonderful but this one definitely lacks in both stock and customer services. Very disappointing.

Very helpful and very informative! Emily assisted us and educated us during our pool purchase and several times after. Thanks Emily and good work! We will be sure to shop again soon because of your service. Other staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Bought a pool from them March 2020 Received it in July 2020 NOT ONE!! Of the three installers they use have ever called me back!! Now the other local pool stores don’t want to help because I didn’t purchase it from them. It’s now March 11,2021 I’ve called the three installers and still no return calls. Don’t buy a pool thinking that you’ll just have it installed because the store doesn’t care about the install they already have your money for the pool! The rest is on you and the useless installers they recommended!!! Not even a call back!!

UPDATE: Viscount has since been very helpful in assisting with the issues that my parents were having with their new pool. They provided a new motor/pump as well as a number of other things to help compensate for trouble we had. I know my parents greatly appreciate it! Worst customer service imaginable. My parents purchased a large above ground pool here and it's been a nightmare from start to finish. The organization of installation was a mess and Viscount was no help. They never tell you that many times once something leaves the store it's not returnable...even if it doesn't work right out of the box. And to top it off, just a few months after getting the pool installed the pump motor has quit working. Viscount sold us a replacement conversion motor that did not work, even after they assured us that it would. We are now working directly with the manufacturer to get a new motor because Viscount has been zero help. I would not recommend ANYONE do business here EVER!

It's ok. They have pools, although prices have went up drastically in the last year....no fault of theirs. Didn't see any pool tables or game room equipment though.

Oh. My. Goodness. If i could give this place 10 stars i would! Makes me sad that i cant! The staff? I have no words. They are wonderful! They are beyond your family & beyond pool smart. I seriously don't even know how to describe them... Love just going into this store. Crazy but it smells absolutely fabulous. Just sayin. These guys are our pool go toos.

Just wanted to say a personal thanks to you for leaving my 70 year old grandmother to load boxes of chlorine into her car in 80 degree heat. Clearly customer service and basic manners are lacking.

Paid almost $6000 for a hot tub from them. Had a major failure the first winter on a heating element and now convinently now just out of warranty my main pump motor must be replaced and the second pump needs reworked. $700 hit on a 27 month old hot tub. Got the run around and numbers passing me off person to person. Will sell you the product but won't back up when their manufacturer produces a lemon. Ps the install motors are made in China but the replacement ones the service company replaces them with is made in the USA because it's a better brand. I will never do business with this company again.

Salesperson/consultant Bree made it a really easy decision for us to purchase our pool and Viscount in Imlay City. We felt welcome and appreciated by her. She was so knowledgable and friendly. Thank you Bree!

Great place to get pool and spa chemicals the ladies are always so helpful and very nice.. Always a pleasure to shop here
