Ace stores have better selection on certain items, a higher quality standard for merch, and friendly helpful staff. Good deals if your timing is right on stuff you wanted anyway. Yes, you sometimes pay a little more, but sometimes a better shopping experience is worth it!
They always have EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Amazing. So what if you pay a few pennies more ? than a schlep to Home Depot at least here, the customer service is spot on, and you are in and out in a few minutes. My favorite Hardware store in St Pete.
Horrible experience here. Traveled about an hour because I heard from one of my plant groups they had a good plant selection. They do, even though it's small. I had a 25/125 coupon to use and had well over my threshold in the cart. Was told my coupon can't be used on plants ive been using it on plants no problem at the owner Jim's other Ace locations for years. Called corporate to find out what I was missing nothing noted on the terms and conditions of the coupon. The associate that answered the phone at corporate told me they probably didn't take the coupon because they don't know me. What? Headed to my regular Ace to have them order the plants I had picked out so I can use my coupon. What a waste of time. And kind of insulted that I've spent 100s of dollars at Ace to not even be worth $25.
This is a fantastic store .. the staff are extremely helpful and so friendly .. would recommend this store to everyone
Truly a treasure to all of St Pete. Staff and inventory could not be better. Great service. Somehow, a Big Box store has been compressed intelligently into a neighborhood retail space. For any homeowner, it is such a pleasure to shop here. Thank you for being here in the Burg. There is a small town feel to this very complete hardware.
Terrific variety, clearly marked items...organized..priced right and a competent employee nearby to assist-whats not to like?
I go to this store often, and I always find a smiling face, there to help me if I can't find something. They are clean, and it beats, the bigger chains. They Get a A-Plus from me.Thank you ACE.
I stopped into Ace Hardware to look for door knobs. The cashier called for assistance so that I could ask a few questions. My questions were answered. Both women were TRUE PROFESSIONALS!! I'm planning to use their Handyman service to secure the new knob knobs for additional primacy!!
Very helpful staff.. Small store hard to move around when it's bussy.
Great store with a team that can actually help you with quick clear instructions. I don't even go to the "other big stores" anymore.
