I started with visiting Angels with them providing care for my mom and also training to become a caregiver as well. I have been blessed at how well they work together as a team and how the caregivers really treat mom so well. We are both experiencing great relief from them lightening the load for both of us. The office staff is very professional but fun and warm at the same time. They communicate well and quickly to our needs and concerns. I would highly recommend them for your loved ones
Very professional, office staff very helpful, friendly and care about their employees as well as care about their clients. I've never worked for a company that did both. Visiting Angels is an outstanding agency for how well they care for both clients and employee. They listen to your needs and bend over backwards to help you, even going the extra mile at times. I highly recommend this agency for home care. Also, they have fun promotions. The office staff are the cream of the crop, Professional, friendly and fun. I throughly enjoyed working for this company.
Visiting Angels is a great company to work for! I feel appreciated in my role as a caregiver, from my clients and from the office staff. Visiting Angels on Vashon Island did an awesome job for my mother in her home. Their kind, caring, and hard working attitude made it a very pleasant experience for us. Jane was especially awesome and went far beyond what was required of her and my mother loved her. Thank you for all that you did!
When my family caregiver needs to have a break Angels are a Fine replacement while they are away. Kind ,capable and good company. We have used Angels for years, for my husband and now for my own care when my family can’t be there for me.
Heather was willing and able to come on board with short notice and understand our situation. She worked quickly to fill the necessary shifts with high-quality caregivers. She has swiftly addressed any issues that have arisen, with tact, a positive professional attitude, kindness and understanding.
These people truly are Angels! They fulfill a most difficult position dealing with the disabled, both physically and mentally, and they not only are empathetic and kind, but totally professional. I am very grateful for their service. Theirs is a thankless job.
I surely appreciate that I'm getting the chance to help those in need of Visiting Angels. I appreciate the training, the close knit work environment and specialist in the office that have my back when I need it. I would highly recommend working as a Angel.
Visiting Angels is an amazing company and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the team. I’m especially grateful for the office staff, they have been nothing but kind and supportive. An added bonus, they show genuine appreciation for everyone’s hard work. As for the clients, they are such wonderful people to be around and are the best part of my week. Don’t get me wrong, there are good days and there are bad, but we can’t have the good without the bad. You’ll do great with this company if you have realistic expectations, the willingness to learn, and the ability to empathize with your clients. You can trust that Visiting Angels will help you with the rest, just stay committed to completing your HCA certification, there are incentives.
My family has used the services of Visiting Angels/Kitsap twice in the last year for our sister's care. They are all practical and resourceful. The Director, Marilyn O, is especially responsive right away to any problem or question and is very understanding and flexible. Since we are located on the East Coast and don't know the area and our sibling is on Vashon, this agency has been a huge relief. I recommend the Angels highly.
