Vista Ridge High School is a high school in Cedar Park, Texas. The school was established in 2003 to serve as the 3rd high school in the Leander Independent School District, graduating its Alpha class June 2007. The school was built due to the rapid growth in the area, and continues to grow with the recent construction of its auditorium and John Gupton Stadium. Of course High School students will write poor reviews. Speaking from the perspective of a parent, this school is awesome. My son, who was a straight B and C student thrived here. He graduated with a 3.7 GPA and several college credits. My daughter currently attends and the staff has been amazingly supportive of her special ed needs. I can't say enough good things about Vista Ridge. I researched schools heavily before deciding on this one and glad I did.

I need to write another review.  This teacher came up to me and asked me to take my headphones off in the hallway. So I looked down at my phone real quick to stop my music because my phone would die if I didn't. Then as I was taking them off, she snatched my headphones leaving my phone flying with it almost breaking my headphone cord. She said, "You can get this from the office after school". She should be fired this was so not cool. What if one of my family members needs to call me? What am I supposed to do. She went over and told Mrs. Meeks about it and I told her that I just needed to pause my music and she wouldn't listen. That's not okay.

I’ve been at this school for a year and I can already say it’s been the worst. The APs think they have this right to be rude and in right to students, there have been two sexual assaults that I know of where the boys had nothing happen to them, and the teachers don’t care about their students. I honestly hate this school and even the kids are snakes. You can trust anyone and if you plan on reporting something you’ll get in trouble too.

Great campus, friendly staff, school is big part of the neighborhood.  Our kids enjoyed their time at VR.

My Son goes that school , it is awesome facilities and good students and good teachers too,
