Vista Union is a fun and exciting social gathering spot in the newly developed 700 block of Gervais Street in the heart of the Vista. In addition to billiards, we will also offer a selection of the highest quality food selections, longside with world class cocktails. The food and drinks will consist of only the highest quality ingredients and freshness known to exist.

If you haven't been here to EAT then you are missing out. I've been here several times before for drinks only but today Tuesday, September 13, 2016 @5:30 pm I decided to eat! Had the Chuck Town Shrimp and Grits which comes with an awesome side salad that has their homemade hot and crunchy croutons salad is a must, Boudin Balls, and a Blood Orange Mule well I'm on number 2 of the mule. The food is very full of flavor and just right. Plenty of shrimps with nice and creamy grits. The Boudin Balls are crunchy on the outside but soft and flavorful in the inside. The Blood Orange Mule is wonderful and bubbly. So bubbly that I'm starting to feel a little bubbly myself. Lol. This place is very attractive and nice but hardly ever pack. They have outside seating and plenty of bar space and seating for dinner guests. The staff is nice and attentive. It's a nice upscale type place that need to advertise more to attract more customers. It's sits in the ally way between Wet Willie's and Tin Lizzy. I highly recommend this place. I always have a nice time here. So if you are reading this and thinking about going out then definitely give them a try for food, drinks, or both and tell several of your friends. And ask for Emma. She was my waitress today and she represent this place well. DJ is the bartender who made those amazing mules. Well let me drink this water cause those mules are kickin my_________ you fill in the blank a bit! Lol. Later...
The staff is amazing. Ashlyn and Shalyn are always super attentive and helpful. My only complaint is there’s no cook. Like ever.
Used to be the number one go-to for mature adults. Was a very chill atmosphere, with good music, fast drinks, almost a lounge type of place. Now they are completely over run by college students. You walk in and see thirty females wearing the EXACT same thing; faded mom jeans, dirty sneakers, black crop tops. All the boys look like they have four kids and are holding down the grill at a community pool party. The area with pool tables is never cleaned, a good inch of thick oil or grease on the floor. The pool tables are in rough shape to say the least, and you can't hear anything. I miss when the vista area was for established adults and the kids stayed in five points.

Waited over 45 minutes for a burger when there were only 3 people in the whole place, and then it didn't even come out right because the bartender thought onions and pickles didn't count as vegetables. Worst fries ever - like they took the scraps of old curly fries and refried them. Drinks were super weak.
If you’re looking for a one-stop shop for events of any kind, this is the place. Recently had a surprise birthday party here and everything surpassed my highest expectations. The staff, the ambiance, the location, and most importantly THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. We received nothing but great feedback from event guests. Huge thanks again to the staff and management for everything!!!
Have been here before for events but tonight was the worst service I have ever had in any bar before. Bartender is rude and unfriendly and told us she did not even want to work tonight. Lied to us about it why out food was “delayed”. Waited for an hour and half. Unbelievably terrible service and I can say this as someone who had been bartending/serving for years. Was *nice* to everyone she wanted to be to but was extraordinarily mean to us and disrespectful. Also did not give us the deals that were promoted for the night therefore ripping us off and wasting our time.
Big thanx to the cook wit the LOCKS, he did well on the tacos and Irish Nachos! The atmosphere was laid back, I did go b4 10pm. All in all TWO THUMBS UP!
The drink I had was good. The floor was terribly sticky, pool tables were dirty. Seemed more like a spot for college kids
