I absolutely love this locations fragrance section. I could spend hours alone in this one section. Mind you, this location is huge. There's so much to find and explore, they allow you to have all genres of fashion in one place. When I'm done shopping for myself, I can spend adequate amount of time shopping for others because their sections are that big. Holiday spirit is thick, you can feel the Merry in the air and in the decor. They actually have an exceptional decor area that is seasonal. It will def give you inspiration for whatever you're looking to decorate. Staff are friendly and willing to help. I highly recommend based on the product alone.
Step back into a classy department store that's not just another product crowded space filled with sale racks. Each department is staffed with someone helpful, they are attentive, the selection seems well thought out. You can find things at Von Maur that aren't at all the other department stores. The gift wrapping is complementary and beautiful - although I will say it's slower than years past I assume that's staffing related. Love shopping the beauty counters, the staff there is so fun!
We visited VonMaur to check out different colognes and perfumes, and they have a great selection. The staff that helped us were very welcoming and friendly. The store was clean and well-stacked, as if a lot of care was put into it. However, prices are much higher than other stores in the area, especially for more "every day" items, so you just need to know that before you shop. If you have the means, this would be a nice store to ship. Beautiful dress section!
Wife bought some real expensive stuff to wear. Lady helping her was friendly and must work on commission. She definitely did her job well. We came, we purchased, my wife was satisfied.
Came to Von Maur looking for a suit to a last minute Gala I have to attend today. How lucky I have Brian L from the men suit section help me out. He assemble the look head to toes! What a great customer service experience . Thank you Brian L for your help . Definitely I will return
Like walking through a dream factory, each department offers a well curated, beautifully merchandised space that's all its own, complete with someone friendly and knowledgeable to help you. This is a great department store - from selection and staff to experience - up there in standard with NYC shopping. A++.
Or go to place for the nice cosmetics... ask nice and you can sometimes get a free gift with purchase. We noticed the other day that shoes in the clearance area were actually higher priced than the sale items. We also love the baby section.
There's a lot more nice clothes than I thought, wish I'd looked around sooner! Great for men's stuff!
Always very clean and tidy. They have a great selection for both shoes and clothes. We don't shop here all that often, but will stop in once in a while to browse around. My wife seems to always find something to get from here.
Von Mauer used to be my favorite store. When in need to buy a special present for someone, I would usually find it there. I could always get it expertly gift-wrapped, even items that were bought elsewhere, for a fee. Today I brought an item to the store that I had recently bought in France. A surly crusty old hag said no, we can't do that anymore, even for a fee. New policy. Well, my rating for you has just dropped 3 notches.
