Neighborhood vons which is super close and bakery is super good. My bad I did not ask the cake decoraters name but they have given me amazing cakes for various occasions. I have asked them to make few out of catalog and they have always given me beautiful looking cakes . Only flaw is they don't follow colors sometimes and add too much colors .. nevertheless they have always delivered pretty neat cakes perfect for occasions . So happy with cake decorators here .
One of the worst Vons experiences I've ever had in 30 years of grocery shopping! I strongly recommend going to a different location. There's just too much to get into it. This is not the 1st time I've had a bad experience at this location. I have had several. However I will say they lie about their closing time, they say they go by "Vons" time which I don't know what that is, but everybody else goes by a standard time .they close 10 minutes before their actual closing time. meaning they shut down the registers early.The final straw was that they charged me for 4 bags and didn't give them to me!
Clean and organized store. Staff appeared friendly and the self checkout was quick and easy to use. They had everything I needed on my grocery list.
This Vons is always clean and full of variety. I also use their curbside pickup frequently and have to day that their service is the absolute best. They are always the absolute fastest and most reliable curbside service. Not to mention how courteous and outstanding their employees are. This is definitely my favorite Vons store!
As an Asian American, I ran the Thanksgiving Food Drive in college, and went to do Habitat for Community on winter break. I'd say I am a decent American. I was at the self-checkout at Vons Scripps Poway Parkway. I paid and about to leave, a white woman 40s-50s behind me said to me you didn't pay. The self-checkout clerk came over quickly and said to me "you didn't pay honey." **Do not freaking call me honey when you don't know me personally, I hate that it is so fake** When the receipt already came out and I already put it into my pocket and was on my way out. I said to the self-check-out woman "the receipt already came out" and I walked away. She came over finally looked at the machine and said he's already paid. I love this country but this country has serious issues with Anti-Asian Americans i just realize that now especially for California. This is the second time I had an issue with this store less than a year. For all the Asian Americans remember you pay your taxes, and why would you support a store that does not respect you for your race or gender/disability or anything else? I will make sure my family and all my friends will never shop at Vons again. I love Ralphs they support LGBTQ, this Vons they just want your money and doesn't respect you what the heck!
Ali was a big help. Store is nice and clean. Quick in and out.
Nice community supermarket with everything you need available. Prices are overmarked and you get discounts if you sign up for vons membership. I don't get this because you could just go up to the cashier and ask for a new vons card everytime.. Anyways, I would watch out for fungus on tomatoes and apples. Other veggies and fruits seem ok. Greens are pretty fresh and comparable to whole foods.
The tres Leche cake at this bakery is delicious. Got it customized as well.
I love the vons stores! Friendly people and competitive prices!
Staff are very kind. I love Bakery section. They have lots of sweets and cakes for everyone with reasonable price.
