I can not answer for all these negative comments/reviews, and can only state that my experience with Royse City City Hall has been nothing but positive. The group of ladies that work there are FANTASTIC, as are the Water Dept employees. They are extremely friendly and respond rapidly to any issues we've had during the past year.
Complacent depts took half a year to get building permits approved and little to no customer service.
City is fine, but they employee a very dishonest person that believes it is ok to abuse his position to intimidate and harass local community members, if he feels he can gain from it. In my opinion, David Alkins is a manipulative new comer to town, whom I believe lacks the the integrity required to hold the position he has in our community. Spreading false accusations online and trying to BULLY small business owners/employees into doing things that are not fair or honest. I have been in this community for 15 years, and strive to conduct myself in an positive and constructive manner. Integrity means a lot, and this man seems to be lacking. Back to the drawing board for this City Position.
Police in this community are ridiculous they want to pull you over for every minor traffic violation running a stop sign not having your blinker on Etc. And yet the very ones that are doing all the reprimanding are doing the exact same thing on a consistent basis! Everyday I see them doing it and these are our officers.
I live in Royce city and like every city/town it has issues but it's a very nice town and I have proudly lived in Royce city for nearly 8 years.
