Loving God & Loving People
Here at the Wesley we strive to simply love God and love people. We do this because Jesus did and He considered those two commands God’s most important commandments. That inspires us to create a culture of community, love, friendship, family, and discipleship. We want to raise up leaders to branch out into the workforce, churches, and especially their campus.
A Culture of Discipleship
Jesus focused on the few, which is why at the VSU Wesley Foundation we focus on discipleship. Discipleship involves a one-on-one relationship between a mentor and a student (or staff member) that meets weekly to discuss life and the Word of God. Raising Up Leaders
We aim to raise up leaders for the church and the community. That is why our staff takes pride in developing students’ gifts and talents on our Leadership Team. Students are encouraged to join our Leadership Team (LT).
To provide a positive community for VSU students that is centered on discipleship and raising up leaders.
