Healthy Homes Renovation Tax Credit
In 2012, Ontario introduced a refundable Healthy Homes Renovation Tax Credit, which is designed to assist senior citizens with the cost of permanent home modifications to improve accessibility, or to assist with mobility in and around their home.
You can claim up to $10,000 in tax credit for wheelchair ramps, widening passage doors, hand rails in corridors, and other qualifying expenditures.
