Not a luxury hotel, our room was old and dated that had a tub shower combination that needed remodeling. Room was average at best, I’ve gotten better rounds at La Quinta. Several lamps and electrical outlets did not work. Who leaves it like that? No concierge’s lounge just a poor poor hotel..Rooms: 1/5
I attended a day party Labor Day weekend. didn't stay at the hotel, but the lobby area was beautiful and the bathroom was clean. The drinks were very good and so was the food. We had an avocado club, eggplant pizza, and a Cesar salad not enough dressing The crowd was mature and the music was the right vibe. Food & drinks: Delicious I took photos of the food, but there isn't an option to post them.
Location location location! This is the best part of this hotel. Right across the street from AA- perfect for a concert or sports night. BUT, for the price , there needs to be some attention to this hotel. The heated pool is nice but the water was cloudy and needs the chemicals balanced. The mattress was very stiff and whatever side I lied on, my body parts would fall asleep, which would wake me up and I tossed and turned all night. Also, many of the ice machines on the floors are not in working order. I did ask them to bring me ice and they did. Also, the bathroom countertops were very small and I had a hard time fitting my toiletry bag on it. The water pressure on the shower was just OK. In addition, there were not enough valet drivers when we arrived and the line was long and they didn’t go in order of arrival. Finally, they only had one person at reception to check guests in at this busy hotel on a Saturday, so again, we had to wait. Oh/ and the elevators are slow!! I think 1 was not in working order. But, we had a very fun night with our group despite the hotel flaws.
Thanks so much for an amazing stay . A woman named Ms. Pauline at the front desk was sure to make me feel beyond welcomed as an ambassador my entire stay and was super sweet . Also a manager named Ms. Nicole was very comforting in a situation I had questions on . Appreciate it . Sincerely , your guest Ms. Cox Rooms: 5/5
I wish I read the other review about the smell before booking. Nothing has changed.. you can actually taste the smell of the scent they spray. Equivalent to spending time in a Bath and Body Works. We left the same evening and stayed at the Joule... amazing food and service, gorgeous space. Same price. I give service a good rating, they offered a new room or a refund.
If i could give it a zero, i would. Me and my husband purchased a day pass to the pool party. It was cool till we checked our bank statements and realized the 2 grimy women at the bar charged a $260.00 TIP on our card which was way more than our actual bill. Everyone we called including the managers keeps brushing it off and giving us the run around. At this point i'm about ready to file a police report, this is fraud and a Class Action Lawsuit. Lord knows how many people they did this to and got away with it. They need to do better and hire better people!!!!
This property should not be a W. Maybe a Sheraton at best. Location is good but that's where it ends. Breakfast should be included at my Bonvoy level. When I asked they said it wasn't. After showing them the Marriott website they said oh we give you a $15pp credit at the restaurant. This doesn't even cover toast and a coffee and they add an 18% service charge which according to waitstaff does not go to them. Other bonvoy benefits had to be fished for. They said no room upgrade because of availability. Property could not have been more than 30 percent occupied. Room was not ready until after 4. Late checkout granted after initially being declined and 2 calls to front desk. Service was lacking in just about every facet of the hotel. A shame that Marriott lets this property operate in such a brand defaming manor. There are several other Marriott brands nearby that offer cleaner rooms and better service and treat their loyalty customers accordingly at half the room rate.
AMEX HOLDERS BEWARE!! I stayed at this hotel on memorial day weekend, on check in one of the receptionist was very pleasant and welcoming. He advised that i would be getting a welcoming gift upon arrival shortly to my room which never showed up until the next day when i did a follow up. On Sunday i requested a change of towels but only towels were delivered, and the two bathrobes that i had used were not. I went to the reception and were told they would be delivered shortly, they we're never delivered up to check out on Monday despite me going downstairs twice. I had booked the room with my Amex card which had quoted me $1346 for the king suite but upon check out was billed with a $2000 bill. The manager on duty Jennifer FIorilo, quoted that they do not honor Amex reservations and i was subject to a higher room charge, on top of that i was charged for breakfast despite it being free as one of the Perks. She had promised to make an adjustment and call me back to which it has not happened several days after the fact. Few of the staff were not friendly, or not to keen on customer assistance. The room was ok, beds were comfortable, but dust in some areas, also the valet instructed us to pay him directly so understand my surprise when i was charged a valet fee. Very dissapointed in this hotels customer satisfaction overall, take your business elsewhere, they are better hotels like Virgin and Joule a stones throw away.
Great location. Room was clean. Valet parking was easy and convenient. Excellent spot if you are attending an event at American Airlines. You can literally just walk across the street and you are there.Rooms: 5/5
Service here is spectacular. Channing was very helpful and seemed like he genuinely cares for guests. Location is amazing with several restaurants, Starbucks, and even an ice cream place within walking distance! Pool is amazing!Rooms: 5/5
