The W.K. Gordon Center is a museum and research facility of Tarleton State University. The museum's exhibits focus on telling the story of the company town of Thurber, Texas that existed from the 1880's to the 1930's.
The mission of the W. K. Gordon Center is to preserve, document, and research the industrial history of Thurber and the State of Texas and to interpret its influence on the people of Texas.
