Donated by the family of the late William Windus Knight, this 44-acre preserve offers hiking trails and boardwalks through various natural areas including wetland, remnant swamp woods, and native prairie. The pond offers family fishing opportunities. The natural Play Scape is hands-on nature fun for all ages. The Nature Center offers educational opportunities including a Lookout On Nature Area (LOONA), perfect for bird watching. The facility also includes the Hankinson Great Room special event venue. The Preserve is open from 8:00 am - dusk everyday of the year.
