Wabash Park Camp & Retreat Center

About

50 acres of gentle slopes and mature trees, a small section of woods surrounded by the natural beauty of Southern Indiana Farmland.

Description

Our campus consists of 50 acres of gentle slopes and mature trees, a small section of woods surrounded by the natural beauty of Southern Indiana Farmland. It is place where for over 75 years lives are being changed. We are excited about that! Changed by the grace of our loving God who provides, protects and cares for us.

Wabash Park and Retreat Center has a state of the art pavilion, dining hall, lodges, meeting rooms, a youth center, rustic cabins in wooded areas and recreational facilities. Our aim is to provide an atmosphere for Christ centered growth, both individually and corporately.

We invite you to consider booking your next retreat or conference event at Wabash Park Camp and Retreat Center. We will welcome you with gracious hospitality, great food, and a place for rest and renewal.

Mission

Our mission and pledge is to be a place that expresses Christian hospitality to all who are guests on these grounds. It is a place where all people of all ethnic groups and all ages are welcomed and invited to relax, renew and be refreshed.

I had an amazing time they have sports that my kid can play in the little area with Slides was amazing for my two-year-old son and my eight year old son was able to go on the bigger slide. I definitely recommend.
Great Recreational Youth Center. The staff at Wabash gives the place a total sense of security and authority. I love that there is a county library right next door!
Thank You for taking a picture with Santa Claus & giving away presents. Yes & delicious food!
Good park with limited space staff is really nice like a second family .
After such a long year without the library, being back is a big relief! Although not as many people are visiting and we still need to wear a mask, the experience of reading, browsing and whatnot is overall the same as before. Sure, it closes earlier than its previous hours and is closed on weekends, but what can you expect when we all need to stay safe during these times!
This is pretty crazy to me, I was asked to write a paper for one of my college courses and they asked for us to write about someone or a place that made an impact in your life. Tell me why, Wabash Recreation Center came to mind. I was born in East LA and went to Evergreen Elementary back in 1996-2001. Wabash and the staff there were like my second family and my second home. One special person I will never forget about and I still keep in contact is one of the staff there named ANA! Growing up and having this program had big impact in my life. Unfortunately, my family made the decision in moving to another state for a better future for my siblings and I. I do miss being a child and having an amazing time at Wabash!
My son has been playing sports for Wabash since he was 6. The staff is really great with the kids and parents, coaches are also so giving when it comes to sports . They have given alot of their time to the park and kids. Really good park...
For being in the poverty side Boyle Heights off of Wabash this place deserves a five stars the staff is amazing here I deserve more than what they are getting and funding
Lively. Basketball courts 2. A jungle gym of sorts. There is water fountain outside for overtime basketball games.
The staff there are very respectful and the director is a great man knows how to do his job
