We had the best experience working with Hilary and the WAC travel team. From our first meeting with Hilary to discuss our trip to Italy we knew we were in great hands. Hilary helped us to shape how we could get the most out of our time in Italy and stick to our planned budget. We visited Florence, the Italian Riviera, and Lake Como and with the planned excursions and recommendations from the WAC team we feel like we were able to live out every day to its max and see and do all we wanted in every location. Everything the team planned and recommended, from places to stay, to cooking classes, to boat tours, to restaurants, was a highlight of our trip! We are so grateful we worked with them. Booking a trip with WAC travel is an amazing experience itself. The team provides the most detailed itineraries and the app they provide has every possible item you could need on your trip available at your fingertips so you can just enjoy all the wonderful things the team plans for you!! I cannot recommend working with Hilary and her team enough.
We just came back from our second trip that Hilary and staff arranged for us. First trip was Greece group of 10 which was ridiculously over the top. Not one hitch and guides, hotels, transfer and recommendations were spot on. We just got back from our second trip Portugal/ Sevilla and Madrid. Once again everything was spot on. Hotels were 5 stars, their private guides and tours were beyond great. We arrived as strangers and left as family. We were a group of 10 on this trip as well
Highly recommended! WAC travel planned our trip to Italy which hands down has been one of my favorite trips ever. We are travelers and have lived abroad and this was the first time I really have ever used a travel agency to book an entire trip down to every last detail. Hilary and her point did not disappoint! They really have the pulse to all of the local restaurants, beautiful hotels, special spots to visit and making it all seamless and perfect! You are in the best of hands!
Hilary and her team recently planned a 10 day trip for our family of 4 to Italy Florence, Tuscany, Rome during April. The entire process - from the initial phone call, to planning, to the trip itself - went incredibly seamlessly. We had an amazing trip, with a good balance of sightseeing and down time to rest and explore. WAC put us in wonderful hotels and arranged some private tour guides highly recommended as well as recommended some memorable restaurants in every place that we visited. It was wonderful to have transfers between airports and hotels arranged as well! WAC has fantastic customer service - they are highly knowledgable, extremely organized, very responsive, and really listened to our questions and requests. We would definitely use WAC again for our next Europe trip. Highly recommended!!
Hilary and her WAC Travel team did just an amazing job of planning our trip to Italy/Sicily. Every transfer was seamless and all the cars were comfortable and the drivers very professional and helpful. The tours and guides were so knowledgable and made our time there so memorable. And the places we stayed and the stops we made throughout Sicily were planned perfectly. We've done a few trips now with WAC Travel and I can't imagine traveling without their expert assistance. Thank you Hilary and team for another memorable trip.
Hilary at WAC Travel organized the most perfect trip that exceeded all expectations. From our first conversation months before our trip up until we came home, she was extremely professional and responsive. The destinations, itinerary, accommodations were all amazing. We can't recommend her highly enough and we can't wait to work with her again on our next European vacation.
I couldn't say enough good things about WAC Travel! Hilary Altman helped us plan the most incredible honeymoon to Italy & Greece Lake Como, Lake Garda, Dolomites, Santorini, Naxos. She created an itinerary that encompassed everything we wanted - a little bit of adventure, relaxation, and being off the beaten path. All of the details were well organized and we had 0 logistic issues while we were there. We could tell that all of the activities Hilary booked for us were not well known by the broader population - cooking class at a family-owned restaurant, a hike through the countryside, etc. It made for a more intimate and authentic experience. Highly recommend working with WAC Travel to book your dream vacation! You won't regret it :
We have returned from our trip, processed photos, adjusted to the time change and completed our digital photobook so now it's time to look back on our fabulous trip and thank WAC travel for putting together the perfect itinerary for us. All of our hotels were easily accessible, excellent quality, and perfectly located. I felt like Hillary really understood what we were looking for when we created the itinerary and it actually exceeded our expectations. The areas we thought would be just "ok" actually turned out to be our most favorite parts of the trip. The Dolomites were just over the top. We could have spent more time there. The cooking class with Luigi was so much fun and delicious. The Swiss valley near Lugano was as quaint as anything we've seen - like a scene out of the Hobbit. Many of our hotel rooms were upgraded which was a nice treat and the staff at the hotels provided great customer service. Three weeks touring Northern Italy and Switzerland seemed like a long time when we planned the trip but it flew by. Look forward to working with WAC again on another adventure.
Just completed my 3 rd vacation planned by Hilary and her staff. It was terrific from planning to end. The first time was about 7 years ago when I took 2 grandsons to Italy and France. She listened to our desires and then was able to accommodate my family from ages 10-21. I would definitely recommend her for a top-class vacation to Europe. Wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable about the destinations.
