Teachers & staff who are passionate, patient & truly care. Everyone I have encountered will & do go above & beyond the call of duty to help students succeed. They return emails & calls promptly & the Parent Portal is heaven sent when it comes to letting me know current grades, missing assignments, due dates... L
The school is very disorganized. The way they want students to get their class schedules and id on a day called meet the teacher. They give a 2 hour window to do this but you stand in a line for 1 1/2 hour not able to accomplish the second part you need to do. The disrespect of the staff and others during this time is very disturbing. They say the pride of waco when the phone answers. But pride mean a lot more then saying it. You have a chance to get your kid somewhere else then take it.
I am proud to work since ‘2009, almost 10 years, for Waco ISD, particularly at Waco High school, experiencing the constant improvement in the educational environment and disciplinary process. Most parents need help with the ability to connect in a proactive and timely fashion with the school to prevent grade regression and discipline problems. Open, direct, and immediate communication and input , time management skilled intervention, and current status reports between the school and parent/ or guardians all helps to prepare and secure students every opportunity to mature, to learn and acclimate to be productive citizens. It was a great experience going to this school. Only reason u wouldn't like the school is if ur nothing but trouble.
I have visited Waco High School web site and found out about the place a friend went to school, and this has been a very interesting experience.
The students r so disrespectful and the staff does almost nothing to try to get them under control.
The school isn't all that great, but just about what you'd expect from a public school.
It was Richfield High then, and a great experience. Class of '65.
I'm class of 2000
I wanna leave
