Wag N' Wash Natural Food & Bakery: Where else can you Wash ’em, Feed ’em, and Spoil ’em all in One Cool Place?
Queen Anne owned & operated! Bill and Andrew first became familiar with the Wag N’ Wash Natural Food & Bakery product and service as customers of the Phoenix, Arizona stores. For several years, they brought their three dogs (Kai, Sophie & Sammie) to Wag N’ Wash to utilize the convenient self wash facility, allowing them to avoid having to dirty up the bathroom by washing the dogs in the tub. The Phoenix store was popular among the neighborhood and Bill and Andrew would frequently run into neighbors or friends there. After the wash, they never left empty handed, always picking up food, a treat or a toy for the dogs. In 2013 Bill and Andrew moved to the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. They were happy to make the move and quickly found that Seattle was an extremely dog friendly city. The most recent census numbers available confirm it: There are now more dogs in Seattle than children, by a lot: about 153,000 dogs to 107,178 kids, according to figures from the U.S. Census and the Seattle Animal Shelter. What was evident however, was the lack of a Wag N’ Wash or other company providing a similar product and service. So, after two years of wondering why nobody has opened a Wag N’ Wash or similar service in Seattle, Bill and Andrew finally said “Why not us?” You can often see Bill and Andrew walking Sophie, Sammie and new addition Koa around Queen Anne, as Koa is in training to be our official store greeter - stop in and say hello.
