The School is situated ninety minutes outside of Washington, D.C., on a 12-acre campus in scenic Rappahannock County, Virginia.
We draw students and provide bus transportation from eight surrounding counties and also welcome to our campus each year International Students who come from Europe, Asia, Africa, and/or South America.
The mission of WCDS is to develop each student's character and intellect through active involvement in a structured curriculum founded on classical principles and in an environment that encourages scholarship, diligence, self-discipline, and respect for and service to others.
