Wakefield Police Station

My friend asked me to come over to help her find a bed in an alcohol treatment facility. I arrived to learn she was in the middle of domestic disturbance with her X, and Wakefield police were already there. The house was chaotic, tension and tempers were high, there were children involved, and both friends were pointing fingers. The 2 officers I interacted with were professional, courteous and calm. The man accused of the domestic assault was arrested though I felt he was unjustly accused as his x was intoxicated, but the officers treated him as kindly as possible given the circumstances, and were obligated to arrest him. The officers were helpful allowing me to work with this woman to find a treatment facility, and went above and beyond providing me assistance, though their obligation was over after the accused party was arrested. Although I hope not need to Wakefield's police services, I was impressed by these officers and the way they handled this difficult, volatile situation.
