Having a death in the family is hard, having it be your mother is even harder. ... Thank you to the photo staff who helped me create a collaboration poster of pictures. One gal specifically I cannot express enough gratitude . Your kindness prevails!! And it is everlasting! Many thanks to you!
I ordered a photobook from here and when I picked it up, I discovered I had put the wrong date on it. The staff at Walgreens were all great and especially Michelle who found a solution. She reprinted the page with the correct date this time and put it in my photobook which saved me the expense of having to order a whole new book. Thank you Michelle!
I was recently at this location in the drive through lane with my disabled 18 month old son an husband. Unfortunately from the pharmacy we received absolutely horrible customer service. The pharmacy area was completely empty of costumers inside yet the tech passed by the window looked up seeing me there and ignored me for 10 mins. I pressed the call button several times. It was not until my husband and infant came close that she then decided to acknowledge my presence. Upon leaving I called the store to speak to the supervisor instead of the supervisor acknowledging and hearing my concerns he blatantly disregarded what I explained to him attempting to make an excuse for the horrible representation this person just displayed upon their business in the form of customer service. Then to display complete distain in me being unwavering in my statement and wanting this to be addressed. I understand that times are hard don’t get me wrong but human decency and good customer service from a chain that has been around this long should not be swept under the rug.
They never get your Rx started until you get there or call, even if the doctor calls it in. Always have to wait like 15-20 minutes... that's after waiting in line, cause those are long no matter what time of day it is. Sometimes you're lucky if they're even open normal business hours. They are short-staffed. They also don't call or send a text when they're out of stock of an Rx either, which is like all the time. They wait til you show up... and then say they can't transfer to another Walgreens and it's up to you to call. Wish I could go to CVS but insurance prevents that. Avoid here if you can.
The pharmacy is unprofessional. I watched as a diabetic fellow tried to get his insulin and the pharmacy said they couldn’t find it and that he needed to wait a few hours so they can find it. Turns out it was in the fridge after he asked them four to five times to check. The lady behind the desk then threw the insulin at the fellow and gave him quite an attitude. I do not want to trust people like that with my prescriptions.
I went to pick up some medicine. My card limit is 1500 and the meds are 1650. They can not take 1500 today and the rest tomorrow. They do not want to split down to 30 days from 90 day supply. Must not want my money. Normally I do not complain but this is out of line. I have the money and I could come back the next day to pay the balance and pick up the medicine. They act like there hands are tied and can not will not work with you. Customer service? I think I will look into going all online. For one it is convenient, when you talk to them they are nice and they work with you on payments like this . Know the headache begins on moving over 14 different meds and finding a different pharmacy , I am super outraged. They do not care .
Drive through has been shut down for months because of Corp greed trying to do to much with limited staff. Covid test, flu shots, vax and boosters Line for prescriptions is insane. Be sure to block your calendar off if you are picking one up.
I will start by saying if I could give 0 stars or negative, I would. The staff is awful. My medication was delayed supposedly due to insurance purposes. After being on hold for over 30 minutes, the call finally went through to the pharmacy only for the worker there to tell me there was no issue with insurance just that they hadn't filled it yet. This medication was a common anti nausea medication that should have been filled 30 minutes after it was called in. I was supposed to receive it last night so it would prevent me from being sick after cancer treatment. Instead, due to "insurance reasons", I spent the entirety of last night throwing up with no way to reduce the nausea from chemotherapy. This came after the last medication that I had tried to get there. The last time was for a less common antibiotic, again for cancer treatment, which was delayed but then when I went to pick it up, THEY LOST IT!! How does that even happen?! I can say that I will never be using a Walgreens pharmacy again.
The pharmacy service is fine when they are open. However, I was disappointed to arrive at the pharmacy at 6:03 to find it closed early at 6:00 when their generic medication pick-up reminder call said that they were open until 9:00. It would be nice if they could update their pharmacy hours in the app or in their phone calls to avoid wasting time and gas. Update 10/14/22: It seems like their telephone system does give updated hours for the pharmacy IF you call them. The app does not show updated hours though. However, I am changing my rating because the pharmacist was proactive in reaching out to my provider about a prescription that Walgreens was doing an emergency fill for my mail order pharmacy dropped the ball big time and they noticed that the quantity was incredibly low even for an emergency fill. This combined with the updated hours when you call makes me think they deserve a higher rating.
this is now my favorite walgreens. they have the NICEST staff ever. they really made me feel welcome & they were all very helpful. i will definitely be coming back!!
