Pharmacy is awful. My local family pharmacy closed down after being open my entire life, even longer than I’ve been alive, and they didn’t give me a heads up and just transferred my business to Walgreens. I hate Walgreens, and this particular pharmacy gave me a hard time when I had pain pills filled there many years ago. I’ve never been more embarrassed, and humiliated when I had to use them. My husband was deployed, I came home to Michigan to be near family, and they treated me like I was a drug addict. As I’m writing this review, I’ve been on hold with them for more than 30 minutes. All I want to do is transfer the meds I have there, out of that place, and they don’t even know how to answer their phone. I guess multi-tasking isn’t their strong suit! I come from a family that has worked in the pharmacy business for almost 30 years, and they wouldn’t ever recommend using any Walgreens. I work for Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Michigan, and I highly recommend using any other pharmacy. I just called them and they couldn’t tell me if any of my meds needed to be filled. Um, but they took over my business from Fairway. What do you mean you can’t tell me what is on file? I even asked if I gave them a prescription number, could they look it up, and they said, “No.” useless. Please use another pharmacy!
This review is for Ms. Lisa in the pharmacy. She is a great person and has excellent customer service skills. I love when she there because I never any problems and if there is a problem then she's quick to find out why and then checks to see how it can be fixed.
Able to quickly get vitamins and Rx. Carry a lot of candies and batteries, also picture printing.
This pharmacy is terrible all my medications were filled weeks after they were written by my doctor always had excuses not in stock, insurance issue something. To the point my doctor thought I was messing around couldn't believe a pharmacy could be so unprofessional. I went to get my medication at a very small pharmacy and not ONE ISSUE always in stock never insurance problem so glad I left this place. If u get any type of scheduled medication find someone else to fill it.
Absolutely the worst pharmacy to go to. The techs that work here need to go back to school and get a full understanding of different issues people get medicines for. I'm beyond disappointed that I'm treated like less than a person simply because I have ADHD. It's not just this pharmacy either it's most of them. They lack the understanding of how difficult it is to live with this disorder. Sometimes it's so bad that I can't even read words because my brain doesn't allow me to focus. I've been diagnosed since I was 8 years old. I consistently get treated differently than other customers simply based off a medicine I'm prescribed. Do you have any idea how emotionally crippling it is to finally get help only to realize pharmacist get to decide who gets what based off what they think of you?. I work full time as an operations manager for a large 14 million dollar a year store. I have a house filled with nice stuff. I have tropical parrots that cost 1000s every few months. I'm far from some junkie. Yet that is the treatment we have to put up with if for some reason a tech that has maybe 1 year of medical field experience and knowledge gets a "feeling". The kicker here is I waited a whole week before even calling about the delay. What crackhead does that? This pharmacy needs a full retrain on patient care and support including empathy. If you dont like your job it's very simple to resolve. You quit!
Literally the WORST pharmacy in the world. For starters almost every employee there has a terrible attitude and no desire to help anyone. If your job includes anything medical you would think they would be a little nicer and wanting to help. Not this place. The main pharmacist also clearly has an issue with addressing women. He talks to my boyfriend on a normal human level and literally physically looks down on me while he refuses to help me. And mind you I’m never rude or obnoxious, he just refuses to even give me his time to assist me. To make matters worse, their phones are always down. Their text message system that is supposed to tell you when your prescriptions are ready sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t. I have had several occasions where employees tell me they don’t see a prescription that I was told is ready, or they can’t refill a prescription based on the date the doctor puts on the actual prescription and that I have to wait exactly 31 days before a refill. I have had to personally call my insurance to do things that the pharmacy should be doing themselves. At this point I don’t trust a single person working here to do anything right or efficiently. I have since switched pharmacies and I truly hope my review saves even just one person from the constant loop of stressful back and forth with this horrible place. If you were looking at this pharmacy because it is close to home, I suggest heading to the CVS down the road. I even had my insurance agent herself tell me “Walgreens does not like us, and the feeling is mutual” an entire insurance company is aware of how poor not just this Walgreens, but all Walgreens pharmacies are. Do yourself a favor, go to CVS.
I am disgusted with the pharmacy at this location. I've been trying to get the correct prescriptions since January 16th, almost a month later and I'm given yet another excuse as to why they don't have my inhaler. I'm transferring everything to CVS. I won't ever set foot in this location again. 10/10 would not recommend
This pharmacy is absolutely horrible under the management of pharmacy manager Shavneet. I’ve been a customer here for years getting the same medication then all of a sudden they don’t have it in stock for over two months. She then personally decides that she no longer wants to fill the quantity I was previously getting at this location for years prior. Neither myself or my doctor were given notice of these changes, causing even more delay in receiving my medication. Take your business elsewhere
Only one star as had to ..the girl in the photo dept . A manager at that RUDE AS CAN BE..Told me to pay already charged on my debit card..apparently was a balance as paying with a card..took the credut card fee and then wanted ne to pay for pictures Which if a cheap balance would have paid cash no reason to change my card unless for full amount..Claimed the credit card fee just a pending which in my bank account it was deducted NOT pending..it wasn't the amount it was that she had to claim how she was right when I had proof right in front of me..Times are tough but I will never go to that Walgreens Again
If I could of gave this horrible place zero stars i would of. 1st of all I was waiting in the drive thru for my prescription for over 15 minutes. I got there a little after 1pm, they took every car before me when I pulled up they closed the window and told me to come back at 2pm when their lunch was over. Hmm funny because it wasn't time for them to go to lunch as it was only 1:20 and they are not supposed to close until 1:30 so. You see the reason I'm not happy. The girl didn't care really rude. Needs better people working there.
