The Pharmacy has dropped in quality considerably in the past few years. I was charged for one medication and given given the wrong medication in my bag. For me this wasn't life threatening but this could kill someone. I requested a refill on on Friday and the website said it would be ready on Saturday at 1pm, I requested it be moved out to Sunday at 1pm 6/4/23 because I would be out of town. I went into the Pharmacy at 4:30pm today to pickup. There was one person in line before me. I was there maybe 3 minutes and the man in line before me asked if anyone was working the counter. A young woman responded to him saying she didn't see him there. After she finished with him, I moved up in line. She basically just looked at me, no hello, no welcome to Walgreens, nothing but a stare. I requested my refill, she then told me that the medication is not kept at the pharmacy and would not be there until Monday or Tuesday. It seems Walgreens now uses distribution centers to fill certain medications that are then shipped to the requesting store. Rude staff, mistakes, and now delays are what prompts me to warn others about this location.
I would come here often because it's close to my work. I absolutely cringe if I walk in seeing the older blonde lady at the register. She is absolutely the WORST! She is always upset, complains when things won't scan how she wants. Complains about everything. She won't say hi back to me or ANY customers I have noticed. Her manners are at a ZERO. She is so rude!! My friends and clients all say the same about her. If she is that miserable all day everyday, why is she there? I understand if she's going through something, but aren't we all? It doesn't hurt to be kind or say hello even?! She has been that way every single time for years. I now ONLY go if I HAVE to go there. I pray in my car before walking in that she isn't there! She is pathetic and makes me uncomfortable! I wish she was just a stocker for the shelves or something. Rudest customer service I've ever encountered. Always looks so mad. She doesn't know how to smile or say hi back?! People deserve better! Much better! She is 100 % awful.
The pharmacy is terrible and has been for 5 years. Finally making the switch to Meijer. I never receive notifications when prescriptions are ready. Calling the pharmacy doesn’t help resolve any issues when you immediately get put on hold when they answer. Sometimes I’ll drive up to the pharmacy to be greeted by a hand written poster in the window stating “drive thru closed. Come inside.” Which isn’t convenient when picking up medications for sick children that are also in the car and now also have to go inside and wait in a 12 person line. I’ve presented a tech with a Good RX coupon at the end of her scanning my prescriptions to be met with “now I have to do it all over again. That comes first.” I was never greeted with a hello or eye contact or asked if I had coupons at the beginning of the transaction. If any of those things would have happened, maybe the coupon would have been noticed at the beginning of the transaction. Tonight I called, asked a question and was put on hold followed by being hung up on. I called back and the pharmacist said, “ Didn’t you just call?” Yes I did, I was hung up on. She said, “I thought you were just coming in and our conversation was over.” Nope, no questions were answered so clearly it was not over. Everyone there acts like they hate their job. Rude, short, no eye contact, zero problem solving skills and ALWAYS huffing and puffing. Sayonara Walgreens.
Medications are never filled on time. Automatic refills are not done if you do not call it in or go to the pharmacy to tell them to refill the meds. I took my mom antibiotic prescription to the pharmacy I was told it will be ready at 6:30. I arrived at the pharmacy to pick it up at 8 and they tell me it is not ready. Switching pharmacy now. This place is a joke.
Month after month, this is literally the worst experience. I feel like I have to put on war paint every time I walk in there bc it’s going to be a battle. I only go here bc my insurance forces me to use Walgreens. Super long lines, terrible customer service and snotty answers to legitimate questions. Delayed orders and calls asking me to refill prescriptions from months ago. Ive had the same insurance and discount card for the same prescription for over a year, yet the discount card never gets added and I get treated like I’m a massive inconvenience for asking for the additional $40 off to be applied. Why it can’t just be added like it was when I was able to use CVS is beyond me. I don’t understand how corporate allows this location to be run like this. Get it together Walgreens and give this location a customer service overhaul. It desperately needs it.
Walgreens Pharmacy Ladies were so Awesome! They took time to look up my Son's Medicaid information...very polite and patient! Thanks Ladies!
UPDATE-IT JUST TOOK 8 DAYS TO GET A PRESCRIPTION FILLED!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will now be moving my prescriptions to someplace else. EVERY single month I have problems getting my re-fills and then I miss important medication because of their inability to fill a prescription in a timely manner. I always put in my refill as soon as my insurance allows and it's still always days late.
Why have 2 drive thru lines but only one person working it? Always a 15+ minute pickup. This time, they didn't even have my script ready that was put in last night.
Came back to change my rating from five stars because service here at the pharmacy has changed in the worst way possible. Staff is rude and I continually have issues that turn out to not even be issues but just lack of attention to detail ex. being unable to fill a prescription on the 12th that was sent on the 10th, to be released on the 11th. Instead, on the 12th I was told my prescription was invalid and find out on the 13th after enlisting the help of my doctor's office that all they had to do was "re-run the prescription" - all they would have had to do was look at it, or my file to see I picked it up on 12th last month also. If this was a one time thing or I or my family was treated with any respect I wouldn't complain but I've missed multiple medication doses in three different months for the same issue. I was led to believe previously that it was an error by my doctor's staff which leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I shouldn't have to know exactly what phrases to say to get my medications filled before I run out. The only reason I keep coming back is because the pharmacists themselves are amazing and have taken great care of me for years and I am hoping they are trying to resolve these issues.
I am so sorry I have to change my pharmacy. I waited 5 days for my prescription. My doctor changed my blood pressure medicine because the one I was taking was not working. I called and called and called each time I was put on hold and transferred to the pharmacist. I was put on hold again for 15 minutes. They said my insurance company did not approve it. I called my insurance company they said it was approved days ago. I was suffering from headaches. I pray the major issue they have will be resolved people in our community deserve better care.
