I don't know what's happened to Walgreens but they have it screwed up it's sad. My wife uses them all the time and three weeks ago I called to get a prescription refilled on a Monday and it was never filled I had to use a different pharmacy to get her seizure medicine filled. The new pharmacy hours 9-6 and closed Saturday and Sunday yeah that was stupid and I'm sorry but if they closed their doors tomorrow I wouldn't miss them at all!!! Too bad I can't leave a half a star or I would that's how bad Walgreens suck
My Doctor sent in a prescription for pain Thursday morning. It is now late morning on Friday and I still have not received a notification that it is ready. I called the pharmacy and the tech that answered the phone said she would type another label . I do not blame the pharmacy. I blame corporate. You need to hire more help. I am seriously thinking about switching pharmacies. They are no longer open on weekends either. I never see more than 1 pharmacist.
Sometime recently Walgreens changed their Pharmacy hours. I found out the hard way by pulling up to get my prescription, only to find the Pharmacy was closed due to new hours. Therefore I had to wait until the next day for a medication which I am required to take every day, to remain healthy. No message about the new hours had been sent to me via text or email or through the app all of which Walgreens has on file for me, which should have been done as soon as the store knew that the Pharmacy hours were changing. I was told that the new hours have been posted for a while, which does not help me in the least, because I only go to the drive-up window when I need a prescription ... either every 30 days or every 90 days. The lack of communication from the store to its Pharmacy customers is in my opinion, completely unacceptable. We are not talking about dispensing fast food, we are talking about dispensing medication's that keeps us healthy and alive. I was told by the store manager that on a local basis they do not have the capability to send out any kind of blast message via any method, to convey major changes like this. Is Walgreens really that technologically inefficient? I have forwarded a formal complaint to the Walgreen Co National Public Relations office, so that they can explain to me what they feel should have been done, and to advise me why I should remain a Walgreens customer. I have attached a photo of the new hours, so that you won't be surprised like I was. Also note that the Pharmacy is not even open on Saturdays now. Again, completely unacceptable. If Walgreens cannot pay pharmacists enough money to staff at least one day of the weekend, than they are putting profits over customers, in my 65-year life experience and opinion. I don't feel good at all about writing a review like this. I personally like the store, the manager and the employees. I know they can sometimes be somewhat limited in what they can do locally. However if they can't get the attention of the top corporate level people to handle/fix something as important as this, then one needs to reconsider whether or not to put your trust and health in Walgreens as a company. Sincerely and respectfully, Steve P.S. Please also note that the pharmacy hours posted on this Google Maps listing has not been updated either. They do not close at 7 PM during the week, they close at 6 PM.
Please get these employees more help. There’s often a huge line, both at the front and at photo. People angry that the single cashier for both can’t help them RIGHT THIS SECOND. Every time I go there the employees are clearly overwhelmed, but still friendly, and doing their best.
Sabrina in the pharmacy is amazing. I went in on Christmas day hoping to find a home covid test. The shelves were empty, but Sabrina went through a shipment in the back and found some. My wife then tested positive and we were able to change family plans and keep others from being exposed.
I have used a this pharmacy for years now and some of the girls who work there are usually polite and courteous, but for the past few years there been a few exceptions. The biggest one being Claire, one of the pharmacy techs. She is not only impatient but speaks to customers with a sharp Tongued attitude. For the first year I Chalked it up to COVID stress even though we had put up with that same demeanor even before COVID. I would also like to add that even after being treated like this for years we always remained polite and courteous to her, but a person can only take so much and we called corporate a few months back, but it seems that very little has been said or done. I really hate to change pharmacies but since she works all the time this might be are only option
If I could give a zero star review, I would. “Bryce” a manager at this store is not only rude but clearly out of touch with any sense of customer service. He told me that my balance rewards issue was MY issue and I would need to “call the number on the back of card. We don’t have anything to do with it.” I said I had been in the store multiple times and experienced similar issues with my balance rewards not coming up when my phone number is entered. There have been other times it has worked. My phone number on my app is CORRECT. He also stated that I was “probably entering the wrong information.” No Bryce, I wasn’t. Instead of being an out of touch “just here for the paycheck” employee, perhaps you should reach out to your district manager since this “happens all the time.” Your words, not mine. As for me, I’ll choose to have my Walgreens order filled online and delivered direct, and my balance rewards applied correctly. Unlike your store.
The pharmacy hours are ridiculous. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
Called about COVID testing. Was given incorrect information and had to call back for clarification. I have NEVER experienced such rude behavior by a pharmacy before. I’m switching my account and encouraging my parents to do the same. The way the lady spoke to my mom is still shocking and I’ve had half a day to process and move on from it. There’s just no excuse. None.
This Walgreens is much like every other one across the country. Decent selection and also what you'd expect with pricing. The only complaint we have is that depending on traffic, it can be difficult exiting the parking lot to the south. I would recommend entering and exiting on the west side of the parking lot.
