Called about an order I placed this morning. After a couple hours I called to make sure it was in the system. Was on hold for 15 minutes all the while letting me know periodically where I was in line. 3 ahead, 2 ahead, 1 person ahead....then the recording comes on and says they are at lunch for the next 30 minutes. But I could hold if I want to! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! The least you could do is attend to those in the cue and not accept new calls at a certain point. Needless to say, I have decided to take my chances without Walgreens.
Took forever for them to find my profile. Was told I couldn't talk to the pharmacist because they couldn't be interrupted with what they were doing, and lastly, I was told last week that one of my prescriptions was ready for pick up. Called today a week later basically and was told that the prescription had to be approved before it could be refilled. That seems odd. Why was I told it was ready and now I'm being told it has to be approved before it can be filled? Someone isn't telling the truth. Do yourself a favor and report this company to the state. I will be filing a complaint with the state for sure, as this is unacceptable. I will find another pharmacy to deal with. The only reason I chose Walgreen is because they are in many states, but I guess when you get service like this, it almost doesn't matter anymore. I would rather deal with someone else that has fewer locations or more limited hours than go through this. Apparently taking care of customers is not their priority. Sad because I don't think that's what the founders of the company had in mind when they founded the company.
Walgreens, if you see this, clear out this pharmacy staff and start fresh. They lack basic understanding in filling prescriptions. Instead of solving issues and helping customers, they’re too busy trying to point the blame at someone else. In the end, they read my prescription wrong and only gave me 1/3 of my monthly pills and tried to play it off as cool. That’s NOT okay. I reached out to them on four different occasions about being shorted and waiting on hold for over an hour each time I called. How absurd. I’m glad they weren’t life saving heart meds or I would sue. It’s been two weeks and they still haven’t figured out how to correct the issue. It’s unacceptable. This staff needs to learn the difference between 30 day supply vs 30 pills. There’s a big difference if people take meds 3 times a day. I had to call my doctor many times and the pharmacist many times. It shouldn’t be this hard. I’m the middle man. You should be working directly with them to get me my refills. I have a patient history as well, you should clearly be able to see something is wrong after I notify you that my primary doctor was taking over my meds refills and they needed to reach out to him to continue fulfilling my meds because that is what my doctor asked. You should’ve communicated with him better to notice something was wrong.
Why is it always so slow in the drive thru for the pharmacy I have been in line for 20-40 minutes on a regular basis. Even though their are 4 cars in front of me.... they redid the pharmacy ... for what? to be slower! I'm so tired of it. I'm haveing my Dr transfer my scripts asap this happend no matter what day or time. Garbage!
I can't get help from this location. I was on hold for 39 minutes with nobody to answer. The website is broken so making appointments is nearly impossible as they time you for their own website to fail and not work after imputing the prompt. Then I call back only to be hung up on by the pharmacy. I've had several bad experences at this Walgreens, From the photo counter man trying to hit on me. For the older cashier who runs the front treat my boyfriend rudely. I don't understand why this particular Walgreens has been so bad. I've gone to Walgreens all over the country and, I've never experienced worse services, wait times, lack of customer service and, lack of help. Sadly this has been going on for years from what I hear.Maybe it's time for Corporate to investigate this store.
Waiting in line at Walgreens just now, workers walking by saw all of the people in line but didn’t help. The one tech checking out a couple and had been helping the same couple the whole time without much hurry. Had to leave without meds to make an appointment. Frustrated!
At 1st I avoided this Walgreens location because they are always super busy. On occasion an RX has taken longer than at other pharmacies BUT I can easily forgive them for it because their pharmacy in-store and/or 2 drive-thru windows are always stacked with customers. The fact they are slammed with such a heavy volume of customers is totally their fault for: having great employees who are warm, friendly and knowledgeable, a wide variety of services, nice variety of items, fairly low prices and great sales prices. They know how to treat their customers very well and leave them eagerly coming back. Other stores should try the same easy business model and maybe Walgreens in Sycamore would be less busy!!! : I now shop there for a quick pick up of whatever needed and my RX's it's just that easy.
I usually use the dekalb location. But due to the hours i tried this ond. I felt that the woman in the pharmacy was rude. And they never pick up their phone. I plan on sticking to the walgreens in dekalb.
I have had numerous issues of getting prescriptions sent here, and coming to pick them up hours later and them still not being ready. I've shown up, and been told "It would be an hour to get your prescriptions ready" only to show back up an hour later to have them tell me nothing was ready. Not only have I had issues, anyone I know that has went here for prescriptions has had some sort of issue, whether it was not filling prescriptions, overcharging, not running insurance, or berating them for the prescriptions they were filling. But the final reason I'll never go back: The lady in line in front of me called ahead and was told her prescriptions were ready. She was then told in-store that her 2nd prescription was ready at a totally different store. Then, after she left, the pharmacy techs decided to mock her and laugh at her.
The over night pharmacist was the rudest woman I've ever dealt with!! I will never use Walgreens again
