I am appalled and stunned by the Walgreens pharmacy manager's attitude and response to my request. After confirming with my insurance that the error was on the pharmacy's end and calling back the next day to rectify it, the manager still proceeded to give my medication -- which was on hold for me -- to a regular customer. The manager made it clear that since I was not a regular visitor and this was my first time filling my prescription, they had given the med to the regular customer even though it was on hold for me! I was stunned by the rude demeanor of the pharmacy manager when providing me with service. Therefore, I returned to CVS, even though it often takes them longer to get my medication, as the employees are always friendly and courteous.
I arrived at the Drive through window at 1:25pm behind a vehicle. That vehicle received their prescription and they closed the window. The note said lunch 1:30-2 lunch. I had called before coming about 1:05pm to be told it was ready but it had to be ok'd by the pharmacist. They said I could come now. Were is the concern for the customer, very poor service.
I was using Walgreens for a few years. Today I called to check on my prescriptions and was told they don’t want me as a customer anymore because I take a pain killer from a pain doctor and not from my physiatrist. WTH???? The pharmacist wasn’t even going to call me and now I’m in withdrawals because my doctor is away 3 days and made sure he sent my prescriptions in. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this mentally Ill very confused pharmacy. He was also extremely rude to me. Truly disgusting people.
Absolutely horrible place. I only go here because my insurance requires it. Terrible communication between pharmacy and front end. They ordered a special formula for my daughter through my insurance a week ago, it did not arrive when they said it would, and they cannot tell me for certain when it will. I keep getting different answers. Had to go to Target where I can buy it off the shelf but somehow this store cannot even manage to get it delivered in a week. Every single time I need something, it’s an issue.
My elderly inlaws were forced to switch to thus pharmacy as a result of the acquisition of Rite Aid. The quarterly doctor visit refilled the prescriptions and we waited for the normal notification that the refills were ready. After waiting until we had the last pills 3 days , we went in to the pharmacy. All of the prescriptions did not transfer. Instead of checking the system, calling the doctor or offering any type of solution, the pharmacists short answer was "We can't fill a prescription we didn't receive. " I understand, but when I asked him to check with the prescribing office and see if they could get it retransmitted, he clearly stated " We don't do that for this medication." I called the office and had the prescription resubmitted and waited the 15 minutes. Failure 1, didn't transfer the call in service. Failure 2, didn't offer any solutions. Failure 3, wouldn't call until I protested and called myself. I didn't see Regina and the pharmacist hid behind the poor cashier until we called him out. He stated his calling the Dr would be a one time event, I agree. We are changing pharmacies.
Ladies restroom are dirty! Reported to store manager last month. Then today was in the store again and went to use restroom and once again very very dirty, actually worse. Toilet bowls didn’t seem to have been cleaned in weeks. Reported it again .
My insurance contracted with Walgreens so I have little option. I was called to pick-up my medications but they didn't mention I was on a time limit. I got there after a few days and they told me they 'put them back' and I would need a new script for the same supply they had waiting for me a few days earlier. I could not understand this- I asked for a better explanation and the pharmacy tech was rude, condescending and ordered me off her line. I'd rather pay a co-pay and go to another pharmacy. I do have to say New City Wallgreens is much better
They are extremely slow inside and through the drive through .. horrible experiences every time. I literally switched to CVS right across the street which really isn’t that much better but better service. The manager Beatrice is probably one of the most rude and unprofessional managers I ever had to deal with. I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy at all.
First off, I am/ was a loyal Walgreens Customer and make a visit a few times a week for things from food, to shampoo to prescriptions. I made the switch from CVS pharmacy to the Walgreens pharmacy because cvs was god awful and rude! I’ve been using the Walgreens pharmacy for a few years now and everything was going good besides the waits-but I expect that. Well, I usually deal with picking up and paying for the prescriptions in my family but this time I had my husband do it because I wasn’t going to be home until after they close and my son needed meds for his nebulizer. He had two scripts one for his nebulizer and a fluoride vitamin my 6mo old only has a quarter of a tooth peeking through mind you it came to $95... $90 for the fluoride!!!! So because my husband didn’t know any better about the price, when I got home and realized how expensive it was I brought the vitamins back. The pharmacist manager came to talk to me and he says “I can’t take this back, it’s NY state law that once it leaves the pharmacy it can’t be returned” ok fine, i understand then i explained the situation to him hoping he would have some kind of sympathy and heart especially around the holidays. THEN.... he contradicted himself and says “if you brought this back yesterday, the day of the purchase, it would have been okay”. Wait.... you’re telling me I can’t return it because it left the grounds-state law, but it was ok to return it after it left Walgreens grounds in the same day?! The whole interaction was lacking customer sympathy. As a costumer, that is something I look for in a business and the place lost my respect and business. I will be switching to a place who pays a little more attention to their customers and don’t treat them like another item on a conveyer belt!
I’ve been using this pharmacy for years but truthfully thinking about switching because of the pharmacy manger Beatriz. She’s unfriendly, rude, nasty & unprofessional. The amount of money I spend & busines I bring is ridiculous. Sometimes I can’t even stand going there because of this nasty woman. Makes me reconsider the pharmacy across the street. Absolutely ridiculous
