My son and I attended our first auction today on the steps of the County Courthouse. Great experience! Beautiful location in the historic downtown Jasper with plenty of historical markers and statutes!

I went to the county clerk's office and was pleased with the help I received from the nice ladies working in the office. It makes it better if people are nice to you when you are facing troubles. Thanks ladies.

UPDATE- They are really nice, so changed to 5 stars. UPDATE- The entire building takes lunch from 12-1. They don't have a recording to tell when they are closed. IMO make sure you talk to someone before you waste your time. And it would prevent alot of frustration on people's part if you just had a recording saying your lunch time and when you are closed for a non-national holiday.

Walker County. The home of money hungry crookness. Talk alot about justice. Well if it happened some of the folks here would be put away. Did you know that in a victim crime,only $50 of any fine goes to the victims unit. I saw someone's fine of over $20,000 and on the bottom it said $50 goes to victims unit. Hey victims, your money is here. The judges,prosecutors and politicians are keeping your money. Demand your money.

Been trying to get my license renewed for over two weeks and they are always closed...States on the door open till 4:00 yet can't take in anymore people : I have left my work early at 3:00, three different times and always closed : My License are now expired since March 21st : also couldn't do the online because it was red flagged by my Synovus Visa bank because it was fraud!!!!! I don't know what else to do to this point : Any clues????

This has got to be obe of the shitiest court systems around. I have a step daughter who was sexually assaulted when she was 3, she is now 6 years old and they have still not had the court case to put this monster away. It has been 3+ years and this court system has completely failed. Its been rescheduled multiple times and now we are being told it will be  another 6 months for them to go to court. If it doesn't get rescheduled again. Watch your kids closely bc aparently walker county has no incentive to actually lock child abusers up.

Staff always curtious and helpful..except the drivers license lady on the second floor. Dont go there if you dont have to.

Came to get star on my driver 's license.  Had sign on door that says gone to lunch and they were full for the afternoon and to come back another day.  They knew they were full for the rest of the day before they go  to lunch???

Got my ID today extremely helpful

One one the two things in life you have to do, and this one is like waiting in line and never getting to ride the rollercoaster.
