In regarding to Darlene Lewis comment regarding Walker Funeral Home Covington. Nelson Gee and the staff at the Walker Funeral Home in Covington did an outstanding job with my mother's funeral service. The funeral home was accessible for elderly people and the bathrooms were in working conditions. I was just there yesterday and I didn't notice any issues with the bathrooms. I think the problem is that some people just like to messy and complain about anything especially when you just don't care for a certain business. Walker Funeral Homes has always been professional, caring and will go above and beyond to take care of the family. They have took care of several of my family members over the last 12 years and I would never use any other funeral home because of the outstanding service they give. It is truly sad that someone would make a review describing Walker Funeral Home is this horrible manner. I would highly recommend anyone who experience a death in their family to contact Herb Walker and Walker Funeral Home they will go out of their way to make sure you get the best service for the most affordable price. Walker funeral home had very nice employees but the facilities was not handicap assesable, not a bathroom for handicap ppl. Only one bathroom was even working part time. Couldn't flûsh toilet . ; Not enough parking. No police escort for the funeral pession going to graveyard. Then we get to graveyard and wrong vault was ordered. Too small for casket. My brother had to be taken back to funeral home . then we was to meet again today at graveyard at 10 for burial and they had already put him in vault before his daughter could get there at 10. Only thing good is that this is now done and I would never recommend this funeral home to anyone. I'm sorry for anyone who thinks this place is acceptable. I love you brother and I m sorry this happened to you. Just please be aware of walker funeral home

Mr. Nelson Gee. We had the misfortune of shopping cost after my sister in law passed. We visited Walker funeral home on Garrard street in Covington. After our initial meeting with Mr. Nelson Gee we didn't look any further. As it turns out price was a small part of why we chose Walker. Words cannot express how we were treated. Sir, you are a exceptional man. From my heart. Thank you.

Thank you Mr G for taking care of my mother while in your care. You did a great job especially her nails and thank you for allowing us to have a service that fit us and how she would of done it.
