History of Wall: Wall started in Kihnio Finland 15 years ago by the owner and manufacturer Petri Karvinen. Wall started as a hobby but was taken to another level with the development of the Proactive goalie masks. Today thousands of masks are sold per year including 3 different pro model masks. Wall has over 80% of the Finnish SM-liga, one third of the KHL and has had 6 different goaltenders where our mask in the NHL at one time or another
Models:
Proactive: Made of 75% ABS Plastic with 25% rubber in the composition the Wall mask gives like a sponge and absorbs the blow. It is the first mask that you don’t get ear ringing after impact. This model was worn by Tuukka Rask in Finland, and in the NHL by Niklas Backstrom, Pekka Rinne, Jussi Maarkanen, and Hannu Toivenen. The inner liner foam is similar to the old Jofa helmets and is removable and extremely comfortable. The Proactive has 2 HECC approved ages, (legal cat eye, and square) as well as a Pro cat eye cage
W-6: Made of a Polycarbonate material which has a clear finnish It is stiffer than the Proactive but not as stiff as the W-10. The mask has rubatex foam on the inside which is extremely comfortable and the shell shape is the same as the W-10. This mask is being worn by man pros in Europe and is 3 times stronger than the Proactive model which withstood 370 hits by a hammer without breaking. It is the first mask due to its clear nature that can be painted from two sides to create a 3D effect. This mask has 3 cages available, legal Cat eye, Square, and pro cat eye.
W-10: Our top level Pro mask is being worn throughout Finland, the KHL, and recently in the NHL by Sami Aittokallio of the Colorado Avalanche. It was also worn by World Champion and KHL champion Petri Vehanen! The mask is made of Carbon Fiber Kevlar (similar materials as a Warwick) and is very stiff, light, and extremely strong. The inner foam is rubatex and very comfortable. The foam on the mask can be customized to fit your needs and the shell is available in Long Chin and Short Chin. This mask has 3 cages available, legal Cat eye, Square, and pro cat eye.
