This was the smallest Walmart that I have been, but bigger doesn't mean better. We stopped for a new hitch to pull our trailer, and to my surprise, they had exactly what we needed! The staff is very kind and helpful.
I walked in, there was a much much older gentleman in an upset state needing help to cross the very busy hwy 148. I spoke with the front desk and let them know and was told they were not allowed to help him. I helped him, I hope they never need assistance when they are older.
I love Walmart but they are always following people around and it’s hard to shop when they are constantly following people around. This has happened to a lot of people I know. It’s rude. That’s why y’all have secret shoppers right ?! They need to do their jobs so the employees aren’t giving everyone the dirtiest looks and making people not want to come back. My friend literally had just bought something he walked out and they scanned his receipt, just make it like sams if it’s that serious ! And shoplifters need to stop as well so you don’t ruin the experience for the rest of us !!
Our scan and go kiosk was giving us problems. Landon was there even before we called for help. He did a great job getting it working for us. He was friendly and kind. Thanks Landon for doing a good job!
Very well stocked for a smaller store. The employees were very helpful.
Walmart in Marion is your bet bet among the Walmarts in the area. I avoid the Carbondale store all together because of the loud, rude, and nasty people that shop there. As a matter of fact I and many others avoid Carbondale as much as possible due to the same issues. It is sad that a once nice area has devolved into a place where decent people fear to go.
Herrin Walmart is a great store. Probably the best one in our area. Always clean and well staffed. Never have I ever had any issues there. Great customer service.
Sam Walton would be ashamed of the company that walmart has become. America first was his policy, now it America last. Not to mention seeing how few employees they can pay to keep a store running.
Pharmacy is HORRIBLE! Different pharmacists will give you different info. They are understaffed and expect to wait for a pickup.
Mostly delivers on time & very nice drivers. Thanks so much
