Things seemed to be stocked fine and the prices were low. They didn't have the self-checkout system for large carts, and some of the produce was rotting, but otherwise fine.
We had to go get some snacks and souvenirs. I have never been in a Walmart parking lot that had so many trees. It was very busy, but we found everything we were looking for.
I am giving this Walmart 5 stars specifically for their parking lot. It is so green! I wish all parking lots were like this! It's hot out, but thanks to all the trees, it's a lot less oppressive. Never cut these trees down, and if you do, replace it.
This store had pretty good variety considering the remoteness of Hilton Head Island. Have always enjoyed our vacations here no matter which resort we stay in.
Like other Walmarts, this seemed to be so large and filled with most anything needed for the home and beyond, like sporting items, even a wide selection of ammunition for guns, etc. Because of its vast size it is difficult to immediately find what you might be looking for. Like other retailers, Walmart seems to have an employee retention problem. The person I sought help from, literally did not know where various items in his area were located and sent me to look. At first I was told they did not have what I needed. I knew they carried it though, so I found it myself which is what the employee told me would be best. This was his first day on the job, so understandable. Walmart should not have a new employee alone in a department he really did not understand- Sporting. But, great prices and tons of product. For me, that's good enough and all employees are friendly and really do want to help.
I love how the trees are so dense that it is hard to tell if there is a Walmart through the trees... Even in the parking lot, tall trees kind of block your view of the store front... Super cool. Plus the Live Oak trees are beautiful and have Spanish moss hanging from them. Palm trees too...
We have been stopping here half way to Hilton Head Island since the hotel was brand new.Still smells new and very clean,awesome service and great breakfast! The people work hard for the Guests and go out of the way for your awesome stay! The Best! AAAAA+++++
Super friendly employees and well stocked. Good/competitive prices for the most part. Some of their produce looked unedible, though, unfortunately. But overall, it's a great place to get essentials while on Hilton Head!
Most if not all employees have no idea where anything is ! Are absolutely rude and filled with awful energy ! Really don’t know how they’re employed when they don’t even work ! Walmart is better off hiring kids then these older obese good for nothing lazy bratz! You’ll get a nasty attitude or eye roll before you get service! I’m not one to leave a review ever but it was this bad this time that I had too!! Except for the homie Teo I think his name is ! Latin bald gentlemen that has been there since I was a child I am now 24 and he hands down has to be the best service worker I’ve ever seen same with this other younger looking fella with long curly hair they should be the ones running it in my opinion
Ever seen a Walmart parking lot with trees? This one looked more like a stroll through a treed park than a Walmart. Store is well stocked with fresh produce and very clean.
