Went in to do some shopping there since I was in the area. Won't be back anytime soon. They had only two registers open with a cashier. Obviously wanting to force people to use the self check out. Washington has the best Walmart.
Decent pricing, great selection for someone who moved here recently!
Slowest service dept. I've ever been to. Had an appointment at 11 to get 4 tires changed. Didn't get the car in the shop until 11:30 & then took every bit of 2 hrs to finish the job with 3 people working on it. If you ever have anything else to do in a day don't take your vehicle here.
Pickup and delivery at this store is a complete disaster. Order was supposed to be delivered at 1:00-2:00 and when it hadn’t showed up at 3:30 I called the store. Store says they don’t have it and to call 1800walmart. I call them and they say the store is looking for a driver and they won’t just cancel the order. This is the third time we’ve had a similar issue with Jasper Walmart. We stopped doing pickup because of so many bad experiences and only continue to try using delivery because I accidentally paid for a year of Walmart plus. Definitely will not be renewing that subscription.
Everyone was very kind, and my pick-up order was as ordered! Customer Service could've been a bit better. One employee retrieving carts was right in the way, and when he looked right at me, waiting on him to do what he needed and he kept on without moving or collecting any faster, or even offering a smile or offering to move wether I said yes please and thank you or no go ahead tour ok I'm in no hurry doesn't matter when you just didn't care Then the employee who brought out my pock up order didn't even say hello he kust said 2 orders for name and when I said "yes thank you of course smiling at him to see if smules are truly contagious but he'd looked back down before I was done even replying so he didn't see me smiling at him and just said have you seen you replacement ? Me - "Yes, I did, and it's ok! Thank you!" Smiling still, and he says ok do I put it in the back" And that he did. He put it all in and said "ok that's it. Have a good night," and he shut the door while straight on his way! Yes, he did say have a good night, but what I'll remember from this trip is how rude not only he but also his co-worker were the whole time i was there! So unfortunate, but luckily for them, I've not got time for shopping nor found another company to get my groceries from yet!
The Jasper Walmart usually has everything that I am looking for when I go grocery shopping. They also have a excellent variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Easy parking as well as being handicapped and wheelchair assessable. The main problem is that they have very few checkout lines open. Usually only three or four at a time and waiting times to check out can go fifteen minutes or more. They do have self checkout, but if you are buying fresh veggies or fruit, it isn't easy to ring up the items and a store employee has to come over and do it for you. That process has improved since they put in a lot more self-checkout counters. They also have curbside option by using the app. It is convenient and there is usually plenty of parking for the curbside option.
Never really a pleasant experience. And of course,always have to use self checkout. I get it,but I still don't like that

Very good place to shop to get all your needs either in store, online delivery and store pickup. They been getting things back in stock. OK restrooms depends who is working and what time of the day you go to the store. Service animals welcomed for the disabled and our respective veterans. Overall jasper Walmart is a good place to shop in the Dubois County tri-state area. Much love and respect. I rather go to Walmart early in the morning or in the evening.
Love the clearance isle lol. It could use a little more staff on the jewelry section, I always ha e to go find someone and they care a long time.
