1st time in a Walmart in 6+ months.. not too busy.. polite cashier.. Update... I now only make pick-up orders online.. AND LOVE IT!!! If there's no extreme need to go into the building, I just don't.. Unfortunately I always end up checking myself out anyway and I shouldn't have to... Just being Honest..
All things considered, it was a good tripto wal mart tonight
I have been ordering stuff from Walmart's delivery service for a few months now and I decided to pay for the membership because I shop at Walmart a lot. The first delivery I had after paying the membership they were late, the second time I never received my stuff and they offered me a $10 promotional code. So I ordered some more stuff and they brought me someone else's order and was late.
I stopped by this location for a couple of lawn and gardening items I needed to quickly pick up. With the holiday decor out currently I already knew the items would not be in their normal placing. I walked in at the garden center and walked all the way to electronics and back with no luck on finding anything lawn and garden. I passed 8 employees and not one of them asked if I needed assistance or even acknowledged me for that matter. But I can tell you that one of them “don’t get paid enough to care,” “ain’t bout that shi shawty” and “Da fuq they gone do, fire him?” Is what I gathered from their convos they were posted up having in every department. I left and found what I needed at the Tractor Supply.
Went to get some rifle cartridges and a micro SD card..2 items! Took me almost an hour to get out and only with 1 item! Long story short, not enough personel to accommodate the different departments and as always, not enough cashier lanes open...I haven't been to a Walmart in quite a while, now I remember why.
Variety and availability have diminished along with any resemblance of customer service. The employees are there to stock shelves and little else. The bright spot has been in electronics where the cashier has done their best to handle the overload of customer needs. Inventories are often inaccurate, especially since you pull a card, wait in line only to find out there is no inventory to match
Employees are rude, throwing boxes, even shoving shopping cart across parking lot to hit cars. They appear to hate their jobs. The pickup is the worst in the area. Poor management.
Some of the employees need attitude adjustments!! You ask them for help and they acted like it was going to kill them, one of them was extremely rude for no reason. My husband was ready for me to park my full buggy and go to the Walmart across town, if I didn’t have to be at work by 4 and had the time to I would have done just that. Was probably one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve ever had in a Walmart. Definitely top 5 worst!! Only good thing about it was the checkout line had no line! Do better Walmart!!!
This Walmart is "above average" as Walmarts go, HOWEVER, I am not from Louisiana, and can't say if this is typical of the area. But, I can say that once while shopping here, the town got it with a MAJOR storms. The hail POUNDED the roof and we were protected. The rain FLOODED the entire parking lot and started to flood INTO THE STORE! But, the massive drains kept that water from coming inside and drowning us all! So, I ain't gonna complain!
Gwen and Marquez were AMAZING at the auto center. Gracious and exceptional customer service, with quick diagnosis and turnaround! So thankful for you guys!
