Walmart Neighborhood Market is my choice for low prices and no hoop jumping to get them coupons/rewards. The fruit and vegetable selection can be unpredictable depending on when they have a rush of regulars. If you're shopping for apples, don't go in the early evening. Broccoli, too. That's when the selection is least well stocked. The grocery staff is very friendly, helpful and consistently so. The pharmacy staff is awesome. The store could improve the cleanliness of the produce department and store overall. That's why I left four stars and not five.
The man at the customer service desk was nice and he hurried to help me wire a payment. He tried one service and it wouldn't go through. The second one he tried went though. The first one he tried was $7 or $8 and the second one was under $2. I wonder if training includes offering the most expensive option first? Ask about prices!
To be perfectly honest - I do not typically shop at Walmart’s. I also don’t live in West Linn, but I’ve recently been working out there a couple days a week. After a horrifyingly bad experience at the West Linn Market of Choice, I popped in here for a quick grocery trip. Only to discover I didn’t have my debit card with me. Review loses one star because Walmart doesn’t take Apple Pay which would have avoided the awkward scenario that followed. I didn’t have my debit card and since they didn’t take Apple Pay - I proceeded to pay for my order with 11 gift cards with varying balances ranging from .20 to 2.50. I wanted to give a huge shout out to the friendly team here for laughing alongside with me during this experience and an extra shout out to Brian who was super accommodating given the circumstances. I went in again tonight and had an issue with an exploding bag of collagen peptides in the self checkout - I PROMISE I am not THAT customer. Had a good laugh with Brian again - and the older woman with the accent was so nice about the whole situation. You have an amazing staff here at this store. As a store manager myself - customer service is so important to me. Thank You Brian and West Linn Walmart Team!
Love this store small but they have great team. Customers have helped our nephew a few times he had someone behind him pay for there groceries. Very nice neighbor hood and Brian one of the managers is very nice...
The employees never help with checkout and they only have self service open. Why have 5 employees standing around self checkout if they are just watching. Update: Girl with green hair and other front register people never offer to help. Everytime I come in there’s an elderly person that looks like they could use help and the employees just stand there.
Store quality has got better and better over the last few years. Unfortunately they are going to stop providing bags which is stupid. Please start selling paper recyclable bags bags. Also stop carding me and making name show ID...I am 59 years old and we all know I am old enough to buy alcohol.
As most retail stores now a days they have empty spots on the shelves but the employees are always lumping freight to fill those spots. And they do it with a smile on their faces. Update: I love the employees. Again, I love the employees. What8 dont
I have gone to this location 3 times since start of 2023. The night time self check out lady with short hair is VERY RUDE. She has made me feel unwelcomed and made some unkind words about me she didn't realize I was ear shot to her coworkers. I appologise I shopped for 10 mins, paid and took stuff to my car to drop off and forgot an item! There was still 10 mins before you closed... I just left. Hate thought of if I need some at 1030 and only near store is this location! But it will be a bit. My resecent visit today was horrible! She made most unwelcomed and untrusted person in the building even tho there was a gal shoving stuff in her backpack an aisle over ... I was buying baby food too...
Very friendly service and extra checkout stations! Nice!
I was back in town for a visit and went grocery shopping. NO BAGS... if you wanted a bag to remove your groceries, you had to buy the bags or boxes off the shelf. Last time shopping there.
