At STARKVILLE Walmart.. I got my oil changed and the young lady Angelica was so sweet and so sweet to all the other customers too.. She was a JOY to watch !! Since everyone is so over worked and it shows through others .. because of the shortage of workers!! But.. Angelica was happy and polite Although it was very early in the morning.. The guys were super efficient!
Employees on their cell phones and asked this person if he knew where I could find a item he acted like he didn't hear me. When he finished with the texting he told me he didn't know. This person was putting stock on the Chef where I found the product at the end of. When I found the item I was looking for I told him thanks. But I guess he didn't hear me because he and his coworker were still on there phones and talking to each other
I ordered groceries online for delivery. It never showed up and all the app told me was that it is delayed and should be delivered within the next 2 hours. I never received ant other update, once it was 4 hours late I called the store for an update, I selected the option for orders placed online, then proceeded to wait over an hour on hold just to see if anyone would answer. Nobody did, it is now the next day and I have not gotten any updates and my order still says it should be delivered within 2 hours as it has all night I ended up just canceling today as last time this happened I waited all weekend and nobody showed up, the way walmart does their authorizations that money will be on hold for the next week anyways, hopefully nobody needs to reorder, they need to add the ability to reschedule your order in the app if it's 2 hours late or more.
Went to the self check out for some last minute groceries and was shoved out of the way by a worker accusing me of stealing before I had even finished checking out. She physically dove towards my bag with enough force to push me into my partner without even trying to verbally get my attention or ask me about it. Went straight to rummaging through our bags and accusing us. Side note: The item was scanned before she came over and I had to actually look over the box to find the barcode. Really peeved about this and couldn’t even get connected to a manager, thanks for the assault Walmart.
I love walmart store. However my recent encounters the past two days has truly made me consider never return to this one again. I had an online order which included 4 tires. My tires were set to arrive on Wednesday @ 5! When I arrived, there were only 3/4 tires. The associate who began to assist me, definitely deserve to be recognized because she was the only one who tried to help me! However management acted as if I was no big deal that no one knew where the fourth tire was. Then they could not even stage the tires. If a truck brings an order and you have associate who does the truck then why did not one recognize that my entire order was there. Then i ask for my battery to be put in and the guy told me the cable were on too tight and didn’t want to break the battery! When they were the ones to the put the battery on initially! I stood back there over 3 hours , for them to finally get me up front to customer service where I was refunded So I could get 4 different ones from inside the store! When I finally get through, I could back to he auto center and is about 7 and they are all standing around laughing. Well one of coaches explains that someone had to put my tires on and they tell him they have shut down and locked the doors. The coach began to explain the situation and I could tell by the how the guys acted no one wanted to put the tires on. So I stated, I had been there long enough and that I would come back. I go back the next day and and then service was even worst. I waited again 3 plus hours to get my oil changed, tires put on, and wiper blades. When I get ready to pay, there was once again more issues. And the coach this time was even ruder. This makes no sense that people spend thousands and more with this company and to be treated so poorly by the workers.
Had a bad encounter going into Walmart and was afraid to walk to my car alone and security walked me to my car. Very sweet people and appreciate them so much!
It was a mess as to be expected due to the season. The employees we interacted with were nice and in mostly good spirits.
I don’t want to overshadow the fact that good employees do exist at this store, however for the most part the customer service here is terrible, they aren’t willing to help you with anything and act like you have stolen from them everytime you try to walk out the door.
This place is a Walmart. I think you know what you're getting into. Great prices that mom and pop shops simply can't contend with, but customer service which isn't bad but nothing to glow about. The parking lot here is awful. Probably the worst in Starkville.
I just love Walmart and all the different choices you are given to choose from..
