Usually stocked well in most departments. The greeters are always amazing. The self check out employees keeping watch...I've only had one nice one and haven't seen her since. It's difficult a majority of the time trying to find a fitting room attendant.
This Walmart is, most of the time, stocked and clean. I usually go early in the morning less people and the staff makes sure to say good morning every time I come. I got the Pit Crew oil change today, and the woman at the service desk was super nice and helpful. It was done in no more than 10 minutes. This is my go to place for oil changes.
The household items that I was looking for they didn't have. Grocery section was well stocked. This particular Wal-Mart is usually stocked pretty good. But the self check is for the birds. This particular Wal-Mart also usually has cashiers checking out in addition to self check out but today there was only 1 open and she was full. If I have check myself out and bag my my items then I need to be on the payroll or your prices need to be much, much lower. It's the most ridiculous thing ever‍
Went there looking for a new laptop. Found a great one for $218 or so. My father, mother, and I were going to be buying one for him, one for her, and one for me. After reading reviews and deciding this is the one we wanted, we were told they didn't have anymore in stock and hadn't had one in quite a while with no plans to restock it. Why even have the display out if you don't carry the item????? The guy said he checked other stores and no one had them. That was a lie we later found out, but the other stores are charging over $200 more.
It's fine as Walmarts go. But they don't answer the phone for online pick up! For over a year I have occasionally needed to call instead of check in on the app or to address an issue and they have never answered.
I love Walmart, but I gave them a 2-star rating because of the self check out experience. I feel like we are spending our money in their store and doing the job that they hired their workers to do. The workers are standing around looking at the shoppers and are supposed to help if someone needs them. Well, when you ask for help they seem upset and bothered. It's not like I've been trained to work the registers. ‍ I've had it with those self-checkout Walmarts. I will never shop at a Walmart that has all registers self-checkout.
It took the associate an hour & 30 mins for my online grocery order to be brought to my car. I even attempted to call the phone number posted on the pickup sign &;no one answered. I called the main store # & the phone rang continuously without being answered. I flagged down a grocery pickup associate ro explain that I had been waiting & he wanted to argue. I asked for a manager and they claimed he was at lunch. The service at this Walmart is so unprofessional. Good customer service is hard to find!!
This is one of my favorite Walmart locations. The store is very large but easy to navigate. The shopping carts are in good shape. There is typically a Police officer stationed outside the store which adds a sense of comfort. They have alot of clothing & grilling options as well. There are several dining options surrounding this Wal Mart along with a ABC liquor store less that 5 minutes away.
It's Wal-Mart. 2 open registers with humans and only 1 side for self-service check out. Staff was helpful.
Pros is it’s literally down the street from my house. Other than that this Walmart has empty shelves everywhere. It’s like nobody works there to restock. You have a Walmart in one of the nicer areas of Hampton Roads but it’s low tier all Walmarts are low tier in comparison to other stores in comparison to the other Walmarts in the area. The one is downtown Suffolk is superior. Much better beer selection seriously what is this sorry excuse? 711 has more options and better electronics I don’t want to have to go to Best Buy in Chesapeake Square every time. They should replace this with a Target, at least they can have consistency between their stores.
