I am targeted every time I go to the Walmart in Sun Prairie, WI. Each time I go into the store and ring up my stuff I have people watching me as I ring up my things. I mean they are literally standing behind me or almost falling into my basket to watch my every move. I know the security staff has to do their job, but I’ve never given them a reason to treat me this way. I wouldn’t feel targeted if they did this to everyone but there are a lot of people ringing up their things too and the security staff never treat them that way. I want to know why they are targeting me black people in general. I want to know why because I have never stolen anything and I always pay for the things I get. I want to know why and what’s really going on!!!! Also, this is only one type of the harassment that I have suffered at the Walmart in Sun Prairie, WI. I have been targeted in multiple ways at this one store I keep shopping here because it’s close to where I live and I have a right to shop anywhere I want to shop. Also sometimes I can’t get to the store until the evening and I over heard one of the day time security staff members say oh she’s coming to shop after we leave. I didn’t know anything about what time the day time staff gets off. I’m shopping at a time that’s convenient for me. I’m not writing this review to make them stop watching me. I’m just saying if they find a way to watch everyone they will find out that it’s not me. I hope they catch the thief.
The staff is friendly, the food well priced. The cashiers are nice and quick. I would not go when it is crowed. That would be around the first of the month. It is much more peaceful during the week.
Just called the bakery to add cupcakes to my already placed order for a cake. I guess I'm an inconvenience to the bakery and was told they haven't taken orders in over 6 years even though I placed an order last year... Then he said it's been since the store was built 13 years ago... Guess my business is more appreciated elsewhere...
Went in today to buy an air purifier no other item . As I was leaving with many other white customers guy at front stared me down and stopped me asking for receipt as I got to second door. Stared at receipt for 5 minutes like I stole something only had one item. Why I don’t usually mess with Walmart
Love this one! We been to the one close to our home but that one is not quite good...so we try this far away one...and they really way better! More organize more products even bigger ... they're 100% self-check now!! Restroom is a mess but it quite late night they might do cleaning later. Anyway we got all we want and always good price...we love Walmart!
Pleasant place to shop. The only gripe I have is the lack of cashiers. I completely loathe self checkout. Nice place, though.
I could find fault with Walmart, but the truth is their prices are low and their quality has improved. At least at my store, customer service is good. I bought a Bissell vacuum there which ended up having what I'd describe as a design flaw. Called Bissell, but they couldn't help. Dragged it in to Walmart hoping against hope that they could help. They gave me a full refund even though they weren't at fault. I then bought a different vacuum from them I appreciate being helped in a frustrating situation.
Great customer service. I thank the two that helped pack my order and bring it out to me, they were very sweet and respectful, and fast. They should get appreciated for their hardwork and rewarded. Thank you again. you guys did awesome!!!
How a company with billions in annual sales upgrades the self checkouts in 2023 and STILL does NOT have contactless payment options boggles the mind. Further, the same machine should not allow a transaction to occur when it's out of receipt paper. Too many items behind lock & key with too many employees standing around chatting or buried on their phones.
One of the worst Walmarts I have ever been to. It’s ridiculous to lock up things like makeup wipes, makeup remover, etc. It takes forever for someone to finally come unlock it then they have to ring it up there or I have to go get it from customer service at the end. There are much more expensive things not locked up. It’s very inconvenient and ridiculous. The self check outs are a joke. 3+ employees just standing around doing nothing but eating snacks and talking to one another. There is not enough room in the self check outs to bag all of your items if it’s a big trip. Walmart needs to figure some things out. Horrible.
