This Walmart always has plenty of parking and is never really too crowded. They have excellent choices on their produce and meats and the prices seem to be more inexpensive in this area. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. They always have plenty of cash registers open and cashiers to check you out. When I want to shop at Walmart I will drive the 70 mi from my home to shop there because it seems to be better pricing and the Walmart staff here is always awesome!
Staff was very kind and helpful. The young lady and man in the Garden Center went above and beyond. We only visited the garden center, but the staff was the most friendly of any Walmart we have ever shopped at.
The Avon Park, FL Walmart is much nicer than the Sebring location just a few miles south. The store tends to be cleaner & the staff is a little more pleasant.
When the grocery pickup area is filled with cars with more waiting, AND only one employ comes out every 20+ minutes….it’s time for management to take action and evaluate what the issue is. Possibly stop the employees from pulling orders and have them run orders to the cars. This Walmart is ALWAYS an issue with the pickup area.
Just bought Apple Turnovers from the bakery. Best buy date 8/19/23. Bit into it and there was black mold in the entire center. Opened up the others in the pack and they were the same way, full of black mold.
Better than the sebring location, we won't even go in there,drive by it going to Avon park location! Prices high,food cheaper at Aldi.
Not like it used to be. Wanted to buy a watch but nobody would come to the jewelry counter. Wanted to buy some salami at the deli but they wouldn't let me sample it . They girl said because on the pandemic but they can slice your meat and you can buy it. Doesn't make sense. Not a good place to shop anymore.
Well stocked shelves and friendly staff. Unlike our local store in South Carolina, this store has staffed checkouts, unlike the self-checkout wasteland we have to endure. Thank you, Lake Wales Walmart!
The avon park Walmart is superior as compared to the sebring location. The avon park staff is friendlier and more attentive, the store is extremely well stocked and so much cleaner than the sebring store. The store is laid out better and not as cramped as well. It is worth the short drive to go to the avon park store.
I have been using Walmart delivery and when I get my bank statement I find that they are taking a lot more for tips than I agreed to...so peeps watch that.. it'll change to the highest amount before you check out..and beware they charge you double..if you use food stamps and a credit card they will charge you cash!!! Be careful people, I was charged $111 off my bank card and double charged too for a second order... please double check your orders and they don't send receipts .....watch your bank account!!! And when I bought it to their attention they gave me a $5 gift card that the numbers do not exist!!!
