Doc seems bored with his job and I felt pushed out the door. He answered my questions but very impersonal experience. The gal "helping" me with glasses absolutely did not want to help me. Any question I had about glasses she simply told me they are all mixed up on the walls just pick one. She acted discussed with me touching more than one pair of glasses so I just grabbed one and said "these are fine" I just wanted to get out of there NEVER go back, and tell everyone I know NOT to go there!
I love Dr Nelson, my two children and myself have been in his care for many years and we have Never had any problems or issues. The staff is friendly and personable... 5 stars!
After making an appointment for my boyfriend weeks ago, explaining he did not have insurance and we would pay out of pocket, we went for his exam. When we got there we were told by Rude Charlotte that there were many notes on his file and Rude Charlotte asked if he was using the same insurance as before. I said "I booked the appointment and told you he didn't have insurance and we would pay out of pocket." Rude Charlotte argued with me and told me that I said he had medsure insurance or something similar. Again I said "no, when i made the appointment I told you he does not have insurance and it would be paid out of pocket." She looked at me and said "no you told me he did" while pointing her finger at me and also saying she wasn't talking to me Now riddle me this Rude Charlotte....why would I tell you he had insurance WHEN I KNOW HE DOES NOT! She argued and said I was in the wrong, rolled her eyes, said "whatever" and walked off!! She apparently did not know what she was talking about. Rude and hateful, we'll get glasses elsewhere and won't darken her job doorstep again. Very dissappointed in the way we were treated by Rude Charlotte! Thankfully Patty took over and took care of us after the exam. Dr Nelson is a wonderful Dr but having Rude Charlotte deal with customers is a bad thing, in my opinion. One last thing, Rude Charlotte told me on the phone the exam was $64 but when we got there she told me $70. Just another reason for my review.
Eye exam and rates are good and Olivia is just fabulous!!! She is sweet, helpful, always smiling and remembers my name. Older woman treated my 87 year old mom like dirt and argued with me that I was called that my glasses were in, but I wasn't. Told her twice but she said I did get called. She has lost business for them and needs to be fired. She has no business working with people .
I made an appointment for my son 2 weeks ago for an eye exam when I spoke to the person who scheduled me she confirmed that they accepted my insurance. Today I was calling to confirm the appointment for tomorrow and see if they had my co pay info I was given the run around by several employees and when I thought it couldn’t get any worse I spoke to Charlotte, she was rude and continued to speak over me, Instead of being helpful she was just being argumentative. I asked her if I could please get a word in and she said “you can hold on” and placed me on hold and had another employee pick up later who had no idea what was going on sure her name was Olivia and though she wanted to help sort of she was also unknowledgeable on the very simple question I had and got a attitude with me when I explained my frustration. I decided this was a very negative environment and I didn’t trust them to be working on my sons eyes I can already tell this experience was not going to be a nice one and for his first eye exam I’d rather work with kinder and a more knowledgeable Staff.
I just wish I could give them ZERO stars... worst experience EVER ordering glasses. The original lady that helped me acted like she was doing me a huge favor by filling out the insurance paperwork. About a week goes by and my glasses come in... they are wrong. Here it is TWO WEEKS later and I STILL don't have my glasses. If the wrong ones only took a week to get in, why is this pair taking so long? I went in a couple days ago to check on them, nobody seems to have a clue where my glasses are or when they might show up.
Horrible experience. I am from out of town and use a Walmart Vision Center in my home state. My contact ripped, so I stopped in to see if they might have my prescription in stock. The woman who "helped" was incredibly rude and acted like everything I asked was the biggest chore. There was one other person in the store and was being helped by someone else. Worst customer service I've had in a while.
Dr Nelson and staff were very professional and were happy to answer all of the questions I had. I was pleased with the eye exam and their rates. I will definitely use this vision center from now on.
I have been in several times to shop for a new pair, only once was I greeted with how are you? Oh go ahead look" then she sat down and started making phone calls. Today I walked in no greeting was in there 15 minutes no offer to help ugh now to find a new place
I spent $469 ON TWo pairs of glasses and can't see with either pair. I've been back twice and you were closed. I want my money back and my prescription
