Currently living here at first had some issues but management bent over backwards to make it right. They went above and beyond to correct the problems we had and to ensure that we were happy. I can't say that for most anywhere else these days. It's quiet everyone keeps to themselves and the lots are reasonably priced for the location. Definitely plan on staying awhile and would recommend whether just passing thru or staying for awhile.

My son has lived here for 5years I think. The managers/owners are super. They live on property and have always been there beyond the call of duty. Kari has even taken my son to Dr. Appointments! The park has a true camping feel. Woodsie and still close to town. Highly recommend y'all visit soon. You won't be sorry! PS nice showering bath house too. Pets welcome as well.

Walnut Canyon RV park is made up of snow birds and long term folks. We were hoping to camp alongside other Memorial Day vacationers but better luck next time! Our RV spot was okay. The person in charge was very nice and reserving a spot was easy.

Just no. This place is old and run down. No concrete spaces. No internet AT ALL. No cell service. Photos and good reviews online are so misleading.  Husband said he realized after we were already there that all reviews and photos are way old.  Spaces are not easy to get out of. Do yourself a favor and stay at any of the other nice RV parks in the area.  This one should just be passed on. We only saw run down full-time RV's in this park.  Fortunately, we were only there a full day.

Down home Country living! The way a   long term Rv park should be ! Also they have temporary spots. Less than 10 minutes from multiple boat ramps!

I made a drastic move coming in from west Texas! Very friendly staff and service and very accommodating pricing. This park as of 12/2021 is mostly full of long term folks. But the spot is right between Sattler and Starzville and anything from 10-20 minutes away from spots on the lake, river and dam. And 15 minutes from New braunfels

It's the best camping grounds there are out here real peaceful chill and the tenants that are full-time to tell you you told you to be glad you came

I have lived here for 7 years the owner is a super nice guy. I like the fact its an adult only rv park for permanent residents. The majority of the residents are over 50 so its normally quiet all the time.

I called to make a reservation. The lady I spoke to was very nice. However, two days after making the reservation, I received a text message stating that we were not allowed to stay there because we had children traveling with us.  Apparently all people in the party have to be 25 years or older to stay. I searched their website and no where was it stated that there was an age limit. And to send me a text was very unprofessional. Why was I not told this when we made the reservation?? Also the lady stated that she lives on site with her toddler. Hmm seems fishy to me.

Of the many RV parks I've checked into, two specific issues touched home immediately: 1 Staff was timely, professional, courteous and VERY helpful and 2I just loved all If the tree shading and presence of nature!  I'd recommend to anyone, to check out out! I can't say enough, in the HEAT of the HEART of Texas, the trees and shading were fantastic! Thanks Alicia!
