Wampler House

I stayed at The Wampler House with my young daughters last minute on a weekend when we decided to get out of the city. The host, Marc, was super nice and was there to greet us and show me around despite it being past 8 pm. It happened to snow for the first time this year that night and my kids absolutely enjoyed it. The Wampler Suite was amply sized and very comfortable for the 3 of us. Breakfast was amazing and everyone there was very hospitable and kind. I definitely recommend this B&B. The Wonderlab is just 10 minutes away and very interesting for the kids. Lots of interesting places to eat and check out!

We just stayed here at the wampler house and very much enjoyed it! The house has rich history which is super neat if you like historical places. It was elegant and the hospitality of all the staff was wonderful! We'll definitely be back!

Excellent room, breakfast, and stay. The new owners are absolutely superb in customer service, rooms were clean and so comfortable. It’s a quiet place with lots of rich history. They accommodate alternative diets and have many little hidden areas with books to read or if you need to study. We had a balcony and could hear all things woodsy, including crickets, some howling beasts and we had an awesome thunderstorm. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I are probably not the couple that would come to mind when considering a B&B. My usual get always are oceanfront, $4000 a week hot spots, Miami, Vegas, Denver. Having said that I would highly rate and encourage anyone coming to the area to stop your search now. It’s beautiful, Donna is so kind and breakfast was 10/10. Accommodations were made because I’m a vegetarian with no hassle. Wampler House is so inviting and welcoming both in its owners and it’s accommodations. Bed was beyond comfortable. Slept like a baby and I don’t even do that at home most nights. The spa tub in our suite was magic after a day on the lake. We will absolutely be returning and encouraging everyone we know to do the same. You will not be disappointed. We loved it

I love this bed and breakfast! Zack and Donna are amazing hosts! We absolutely loved our stay and plan on coming back. Great service. Great stay. Super clean. Our truck died during our stay and they even called triple A for us!Rooms: 5/5

The owners truly go above and beyond to make your stay special. There’s a level of care that they take that really shows how much they love hosting and caring for their guests. The Inn is absolutely spotless, to start. They have thought through all the little details-like having a dark-colored washcloth to wash makeup off. I also greatly enjoyed the huge jacuzzi tub and provided bubblebath. The breakfasts were phenomenal-you can tell a trained chef is preparing it. They even let us bring our 2.5 month old son, which most B&Bs wouldn’t. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat and encourage you to check it out!

This is an awesome B&B! Hosts Zack and Donna care so much about their guests. The room had a lovely fireplace, large jacuzzi tub, and comfortable king bed. The setting is peaceful and quiet but also very close to downtown Bloomington. The breakfast was large and delicious! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

First time at a bed and breakfast for my husband and I . We had a Romantic getaway for our 10yr anniversary. Zach and Donna were absolutely amazing, they are the sweetest people we felt at home and the place was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Food was the best breakfast so delicious. Beautiful decor I could go on and on. You won't be disappointed we are sad to leave cant wait to come back .

My wife and I stayed at Wampler for two nights. It was not the first B&B for us but definitely one of the best! Room was very comfortable, bathroom was spacy, and jacuzzi was huge! The breakfast was very tasty and perfect for us: not very large, not very sweet! Zack took into account our preferences to certain extend, and we really appreciate it! Both Donna and Zack were very accommodating and informative and pleasant! We really enjoyed their company. Location is also perfect! It is close 15min to Bloomington with its sights, University, restaurants, etc. It is also within 5 min of the hiking trails. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back in the near future!

This was my first ever stay at a bed and breakfast, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. Zack and Donna are so lovely, you can tell how much they care about their Inn and the people who stay there. Spotless, comfortable, pretty, modern, perfect. Not to mention Zack is a phenomenal cook and will make you breakfast!! I will be back
