Unique shop located in the Hampton Station. Chill atmosphere and friendly staff really added to our visit. Mead is like wine, but made with honey, if I recall correctly. It is very nice! We tried a flight, and I'd definitely recommend doing that if you've not tried mead before. They have several selections on tap to choose from. Also there's a small menu of items if you'd like. But Hampton Station has several restaurants on site.
Super fun! Lots of tasty choices. For the uninitiated, behold, a warning: mead is much sweeter than most other beers. It’s more akin to cider. Really enjoyed the flight of mead. And they provide games and books, live music. Lively, but low key environment with an open air feel and comfortable seating. Went on a Friday night and there were people of all ages there.
I haven't had much experience with Mead before so I was pretty open to the experience. There is quite a selection and they have 2 flights with 5 different preselected meads to try. You are able to change any of the preselected drinks if another sounds too good to pass up. The beginner flight gave me the chance to experience their unique flavors and profiles. The Battle Bard mead was the biggest surprise of the night. I am not a fan of hops including IPA's and was informed that this "dry-hoped" drink was not like that. They were 100% correct. I was able to taste the hops but the bitterness associated with IPA's simply wasn't there. It was very pleasant and I would definitely order it again. This establishment is in the perfect complex with other businesses creating a destination for a very fun night.
Great spot with a large selection of meats to try! I ordered a dry flight to get a selection, and found that they weren't super dry at all but a nice balance and not too sweet. Lots of cozy seating and board games as well.
I love this place for the unique flavors and atmosphere! The staff are great at recommending drinks!

What a wonderful place to find in Greenville. Upstairs in the special events room for a friends birthday. Playing games provided by the Meadery and having a GREAT time. Everyone MUST come by and give this place a try.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and the mead is delicious. Fun place to come and hang with friends and feels like a tavern in the best way!
We always have a great time here! I love how open it is! The space is really cool and the meads are all delicious! I haven’t tried one that I didn’t like! Their different foods are also really yummy! The stand-out mead for me was their Reaper-er mead. I love spicy things and year round they have a Peach Reaper with is made with the Carolina reaper pepper. This past winter they had the Reaper-er which was hotter than the original I can’t remember how many times more hot they said, unfortunately. It is absolutely my favorite mead! The spice with the cool sweetness is just absolutely delicious and I hope it comes back! Until then, every one of their meads is absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to continue going back for more!
Best Mead in town! Pure, Delishus, and now with Mead Slushies! Great Food and company employees, owners, etc. Please do yourself a favor and stop in. They're the Bees' Knees!
